To be honest mate, not really. We all have those people in sport or whatever that we can't stand and he happens to be one of mine. His mother makes me dislike him more too.

He's a good player, obviously or he wouldn't get as far as he does on a pretty consistent basis and I won't try to argue that he isn't actually that good but yeah, just can't stand him winning.

      Could have wrote that myself.

I think he is a tw*t. Besides that time he won it when he was British for the day.

Best I've ever seen Federer play.

      Any reason mate?

I'm a big fan of Andy and although he was beaten easily it wasn't due to him being off form today.

Roger was simply imperious out there and Novak has his work cut out on Sunday.

Don't really know how he can be hated. He's always been a harmless, benign character. So many of us have been thrilled by the entertainment he has put on for the last 10 years and it's genuinely wonderful to have seen him develop into one of the greats. For sure he may be a bit dull in interviews but that really doesn't show his true self. When he did show his emotions after losing the final in the Wimbledon final in 2012 it was genuinely brilliant (and heartbreaking) to see.

Same here. Think it may just be the best performance he has ever given on centre court. Was an honour to watch it.

Might as well keep it there! She's winning this. Clutch game to come back from 15-40 down and consolidate the break.

I turned it over at like 3 or 4-1 in the first set, put it on again like 15 minutes ago and was like wtf :D

Serena Williams again. 21 singles titles. What a phenomenal player. Still has a few more years left in her as well.

Incredible achievement to get to 21 slams. Phenomenal player. Her dominance is so awesome that you think she could even push towards 30 grand slams. If she completes the calendar slam come the US Open at the end of August then that will be sensational to see.

Also how great a commentator/pundit is Andy Roddick?!

She's an incredible athlete and her dominance of the sport is simply sensational.

I was going to comment on him the other day, I think he's been a brilliant addition to the commentary team.

      Greatest of them all?

I think she is and hope she gets the calendar slam this year.

Agree on Roddick as well. He's been very good.

Great entertainment from the women's doubles final just now. Hingis and Mirza are the champions - great stuff from Hingis once more. It's ridiculous because the way people talk about her it's as if she's in her 50s but she's still only 34!

This is very hard to predict. Let's hope it goes to 5 sets either way because a match of this stature deserves it. Would love to see Roger achieve number 8. Should be a cracker!

Same. I'm usually a Nadal support but with him gone so early in the competition, and with the level of tennis Federer has been playing at such an advanced age, I've come to really want him to win it after all
