Repeat after me, "it's just a minor knock, it's just a minor knock, it's just a minor knock."

Apparently he was holding his right leg in the hamstring area when going off.

Hoping its only a minor knock.

if he is out of the chelsea match *touches wood that he isn't* It is likely we will play a 4-5-1 with gerrard just behind crouch.

Oh god, don't do what that guy who posted the last 'Torres injured' topic did and almost give me a bloody heart attack KK...

All we can do is wait till tomorrow on this one, but without Torres I can see us struggling to pick up a point away to Chelsea...

Yes it will! if not we need to look at playing Babel at half time (need a left winger for this game for sure)

This is from SkySports.com. Seems like Nando is going to be fit after all!! Here is hoping!!!

Fernando Torres has played down fears over the hamstring injury which forced him off during Spain's victory over France and insists he will be fit to face Chelsea on Sunday.

The Liverpool striker limped off in Seville after just 23 minutes and immediately there were fears that the Spaniard could be set for a spell on the sidelines.

Spain's team doctor Jorge Candel was quick to come out after the game to play down the severity of the injury.

"The injury of Torres is not of major importance," said Candel.

Torres then confirmed that he came off at his own request to make sure he did not damage himself with Liverpool's match with Chelsea very much on his mind.

"I preferred not to risk it," said Torres. "I demanded the change.

"I will have medical tests, but I intend to play on Sunday against Chelsea."

Surely his intention to play is dependant on Rafa picking him  :f_tongueincheek: he's played far too many games of late surely Rafa thinks it's time to give someone else a chance  :f_tongueincheek:  i'm ONLY joking if he plays he'll score mark my words !
