V Festival 2008 16-17 August

Calling all festival fans!

Any of you who are on Virgin Mobile will probably already know this but Virgin are giving thier mobile customers a head start in the race to get tickets to this ever popular event at Weston Park, Staffordshire and Hylands Park, Chelmsford on the weekend of 16/17 August.

Muse are treating V fans to their only European festival appearance of 2008.

It’s official, Muse, one of Britain’s best live acts will be headlining this year’s V Festival. It will be their only European festival appearance of 2008 so it’s guaranteed to be a show-stopping slot!

Muse have played V Festival before. After headlining the second stage in 2001 they made the step up to closing the Main Stage on Saturday night at V 2004.

After four years of practise, headlining festivals and stadiums worldwide including two amazing nights at Wembley Stadium in 2007, you can be sure that Muse will provide a fantastic experience.

Tickets are on sale 10am Friday, 7 March 2008

The 13th V Festival, taking place on 16 and 17 August 2008 at Hylands Park, Chelmsford and Weston Park, Stafford, will bring both new and established talent to the stage to ensure an incredible line-up for all music fans.

To ensure you’re a part of this summers greatest festival get your hands on tickets as soon as they go on sale at 10am

If you are already a VM customer you can get upto 4 tickets from 10am on Tuesday 4 March until 12 Midnight on Wednesday 5 March – that’s three days before everyone else can get their hands on them! 

I have an old VM SIM card if someone wants to go but don't have a SIM and would gladly transfer it to one of the regular's on here (not sure if they print ya name on the tickets so this may be easier) If you would like me give you the SIM PM me your details and I will get it transferred so you can get tickets and then just send it in the post later.

Not sure if I'll be going again this year. Hasn't been spoken about all that much and seeing as the tickets go on sale this week, it looks unlikely.

I'd love too and me dad lives right near the Midlands one but I gotta save all me money for the wedding and that so we cutting back on stuff like this now.  Allthough I still gotta go to a Boyzone concert in May

Me and me mates were planning to do it again but with the funds looking a little low and a full weekend planned for the Foo Fighters at Wembley Stadium, I may have to give the festivals a miss this year!

Seen Muse last year at Wembley (truly amazing) and saw the Stereophonics twice in a week in November (Manchester and Birmingham, free the second time hehe) so I've already boxed off the headliners!

Need to book Kings of Leon though, I'm dying to see them live!

I was looking on ebay the other day and just happened to see how much these tickets are going for and the weekend + camping was starting at £250 with only a few bids! should have got some now and made a tidy profit
