      The relegation dogfight
      Mar 10, 2008 08:24:22 pm
OK - with Derby more-or-less down. Who is going to be relegated with them, I have picked out the teams down there and reasons why they could go down:

      Derby - bloody obvious (down)
Fulham - can't hold a lead or win away (down)
Bolton - inability to score (stay up)
Birmingham - need to turn draws to win (stay up)
Sunderland - only 3 points away all season (down..... yet again)
Newcastle - hahahahaha can't win a game (stay up by the skin of their teeth on the final day)
Reading - seem to be all at the Library at the moment, don't turn up for games (stay up)
Wigan - too many losses - but decent result against Arsenal (stay up)

      Your opinions?

I reckon it's gonna be Derby, Fulham and Sunderland.

Derby have been crap all season and will now have to brace themselves for the imminent drop finishing bottom with maybe 1 more point than what they got now (West Ham in April)

Fulham will beat Everton this weekend and maybe have another couple of draws but not enough to stay afloat.

Sunderland will probably beat Arsenal on their last game but draw and lose the rest with Gareth "the saviour" Southgate ;D
