Rafa Benitez makes three changes from the Arsenal victory in midweek, with Lucas, Alvaro Arbeloa and Ryan Babel coming in for the suspended Javier Mascherano, Sami Hyypia and the injured Peter Crouch.
 
The Reds XI in full is: Reina, Arbeloa, Aurelio, Skrtel, Carragher, Lucas, Alonso, Gerrard, Babel, Kuyt, Torres. Subs: Itandje, Riise, Hyypia, Voronin, Benayoun.
