What players do you admire and why? (non LFC)

Sergio Ramos, he doesn't take any sh*t in defence, and he pissed off Ronaldo by sleeping with his ex-bird. HA!

Lothar matthaus - one hell of a midfielder in his day and totally ran the german midfield during Italia 90.

Could include Klinnsmann in this, great goal scorer and every time I've seen him on telly seems a tiop bloke.

maradonna was awesome.....

anybody with skill though, mark hughes volleys were excellent
anybody skillfull, ronaldo at mu, he shows great skill

but my faves at the moment has got to be kaka and messi

alan shearer - was the best forward i've seen in the Prem.
henry - was just unstoppable
david ginola - very very talented winger
roy keane - was great and looks a good manager
paul scholes - best goalscoring midfielder since the Prem began
gary speed - still playin to a high standard now.
lee dixon - for havin the balls to continue to play despite that own goal where he lobbed Seaman
steve bruce - was faultless so often
tony adams - best central defender england have had in my life time
stuart pearce - loved his passion
peter schmichael - was and still is the best keeper the prem has ever seen.

Also Gian Franco Zola, for such a little guy he was amazing on the ball, and always managed to work his magic! Good guy outside too, and I hope he does well at West Ham.

David James, just a very good keeper whom unfortunatly plays very well againest us.
Stewart Downing, a good young winger who I'd love to see one day play for Liverpool

Messi - I dont know why but I really do think he's a different class of player. Skills, scores goals and passes. Perfect midfielder.

since it's no Liverpool it is Scholes, who in my opinion is a better "goalscoring" mdifielder than Stevie anyway. You have to remember the amount of penalties and free kicks Steive has taken, compared to Scholes over the years. Best complete midfielder is Gerrard, easily, best goal scoring midfielder is Scholes.

Afellay - Wonderkid. I love watching him.

Messi - Best player in world football no matter what anyone says.

Kaka - Only because he stuck to his club, turned down money from Chelsea and continued on with the club he always loved.

Henry - Silky smooth striker, just so clean in his movement and a lethal finisher.

Totti - The Italian Gerrard.

Rafael Van der Vaart - Boy is he good!

I hope you mean Paul Gerrard because there's no way on god's green earth that Totti is anywhere near our Stevie. Totti can't tackle, not that great a passer and certainly doesn't get from box to box the way Stevie does.

There are a lot of players that I admire and alot have been mentioned, but long has gone those days that we would drool at other teams best players as we have excellent players in nearly all positions.  I think Joe Cole and Frank Ribbery are very good players and would be very effective in our team!

Paulo Maldini. To go so long playing football, and with the same club, is just so fantastic, legend of the game, and always seems so calm, been part of so many Milan sides and still seems like he has such a hunger for the game.
