For the last three seasons The Reds have found it rather difficult to get their groove on at the top end of the season.
A string of draws usually characterise our results untill we begin to find often brilliant form (at least that was the case last seaon).
As for todays opener, we had a string of chances go begging from our frontline, again not a million miles away from what happened last season.
If we are to make a strong challenge for the top this season, surely we should be "putting away" easier teams such as S. United regardless of the fact that we were playing away from home.
Admittedly, it certainly isn't time to entertain thoughts along the lines of panic, however we do need to get our act together as we surely don't want to be another seasons nearly men. Nearly I don't think will count somehow!
