The death of everpresents for an entire season.
It's over 20 years since we had a single player play in every single season. The last two players to do it with Stig Inge Bjornebye and David James in the 96-97 season. In the thirty years prior to that, there were only six seasons that we didn't have at least one everpresent in the team; 70-71, 88-89, 90-91, 91-92, 92-93, 93-94. Remarkably in 83-84, we had four players as everpresents in a 67 game, treble winning, season - Brucie, Hansen, Alan Kennedy and Sammy Lee.
For the current season, we're 25 games in with both Mo and Bobby having played in all 25. Can we buck a couple of trends this year? As well as the League Title finally coming back to Anfield, are we possibly going to see an everpresent in the side as well?
