Yes calling your club a joke is just banter but questioning why Poch would choose a struggling team in need of massive rebuild over a club with a brand new stadium, great first XI, pus the promise of money to build a proper squad in the summer, is a step to far!!!
United is a much better project for Poch than Spurs. For one, the brand name. United is as big a name in the sport as there is and Spurs are nowhere near that recognition (and history). Second, the available budget he will have is massively different and probably only exceeded by City. New stadium or not, Spurs are not going to suddenly go this summer and throw around United-type of cash to get players they want/need. I believe Spurs wages are significantly lower than United's, so that alone tells you they are not going to spend crazy amounts of money and throw their wage structure out of whack.
When you have a talented coach (Poch) and plenty of cash, the rebuild won't take that long.
