What ever happened to ... ?

Just wanted again to say a massive thanks to all the wonderful support and messages I received this year during a very tough time.

Tomorrow I will be with my special lady and our boys.

I still cant believe it.


Lets hope the lads crack on in the New Year and we can perhaps get something in the cabinet.

Not necessarily. Maybe he's on a very long excursion, or maybe for this training he is undertaking, he has decided to focus solely on that. This forum is a huge distraction at times.

That said, he was only contributing to approximately four posts per day. I'm sure he's out there somewhere.

It is very unlike S@int to just disappear after he was a very regular poster the days before he disappeared though.

Anyway, I hope he reappears as I am concerned for him.

I'm sure s@int has taken a break before, and for quite a while as well.

Saint was absent for a chunk of time last year too I believe. Probably got tired of all of the bickering and the back biting and decided to go on hiatus.

I have just read a very sad p.m. from Skip  (eurored) telling me he is leaving the forum for good. He has not been the best since his lung cancer showed it's ugly head. No doubt some posters will be delighted to lose a bloody good RED but I will be sorry to see the man go. I will let you lot into a little secret that Skip will probably not thank me for. Once upon a time there was a member of LFCREDS who was in financial difficulties and had a family, who came to the rescue but my old maligned mate Skip with a 1000 quid,500 quid was a donation and 500 quid was a loan, and you know what not a penny of that loan has been repaid. The man knows who he is and what surprises me in Skips recent troubles has never asked about him, to the best of my knowledge.
         Skip I wish the world was full of good REDS just like yourself, take care mate and look after yourself.

There's some wonderful Reds on this forum Billy and that's not the first time someone off here has come to the aid of a fellow Red, I know because I've been on the recieving end of some of that kindness. 

Some of our younger members would do well to remember that when posting.

Doesn't surprise me in the slightest that Billy, under all the conflicted views people have forgotten that there's genuine reds on both sides of arguments and allowed it to devolve into a sorry state of affairs. When someone like Skip feels the need to leave an LFC forum it should send alarm bells ringing to people.

There's some wonderful Reds on this forum Billy and that's not the first time someone off here has come to the aid of a fellow Red, I know because I've been on the recieving end of some of that kindness.

It is very sad news billy1, I don't know Skip personally but like the family we are at lfcreds it felt like I did,
Last year when I had my own cancer scare I had many many messages of support from fellow posters for which I'll be forever grateful, but more so from Skip and we have continued to PM each other since,
Lfcreds have certainly lost a bloody good member in Skip and your right some will be delighted,
Like I said despite him having to face his own fight he still took time to support & encourage me in mine, that just shows the measure of the man,
A sad day indeed ,
