How come Sami had dirty knees before he came on the pitch?

My eyes just can't stop getting moist watching these pics.. hey the 6th pic is like football ninjas flying in the air, its actually a cool pic! and then in the first pic, the man on the right of the one holding the poster looks like old Fergie! did he come to pay tribute in his way too?!  :

Well done Bpatel for posting this pics, looking at the Sami pics just brings a tear to my eye.

I'm going to guess from stretching whilst doing his warm up?

I read in the AS newspaper site that they were going for a safari but saw nothing interesting except an elephant ...no lions( did you know they sleep for 18-20 hours ?)
