Who's on your shirt?

Everytime you buy a shirt them cu*ts get money! Im not taken any chances so im buying nout this season.

I have Torres, Alonso and Mascherano on my Carlsberg tops, i will not be buying the new top, whether that be from the store or a retailer, i don't really like it much to be honest. What i will be buying though is the old 70's and 80's tops that my old man gave away to my cousins when i was a kid. The Crown Paints tops, red, yellow and silver, were the best tops they ever made in my opinion. With Roy stating that he's reverting to the Liverpool Way i think it will be quite fitting too ( excuse the pun ).

P.S. No purchases will be made from any retailer that will directly or indirectly fund the Club. I am more than aware of the situation.

Adidas and the club have a deal. Adidas pays the club money each year and makes the kits for the club. Fans buy the kits and Adidas gets money. It doesn't matter how much of the shirts have been sold, Adidas will give the same amount of money, because they have a deal with the club.

The home kit is awful anyway, I don't like it at all.

i love both kits there really smart this year. i think last years home was better though. my avatar is a retro top i'm getting of ebay for next season.

Gonna take a while to get used to having a bank on the front though!

My son works for a major sports mechandiser and he tells me that sales through the club shops have a higher profit margin than independant retailers.So the only true protest,is a total boycott of merchandise from all sources,anything less is putting money into the hands of the owners.

Aj. yeh mate white looks good the badge looks crap but still get it every season i buy 3tops but cutting right back to 1 get the home one next season with milan jovanoic on back sorry spelling. it would look better with red numbers.

So I wear my shirt (from sport direct!) and fellow fans think im clueless and want to line the yanks pockets!

I don't know if you're from Liverpool or not, therefore I know nothing about the percentage of Liverpool supporters or anything in your area but in Liverpool I see loads of kids are wearing the shirt, and adults (who surely understand the financial/owner situation a whole lot better than kids) are wearing them too so I don't think that many 'fellow fans' will judge you and think you're 'lining the yanks pockets'. I wouldn't worry about it.

My shirt from three seasons ago is still fine. Has nothing on the back. Its all about the crest on the front.

has anyone thought how cool it would be if agger gave up his number to jovanovic and he put MILAN 5 on it, that would be class won't happen but just a thought that came to me.

Question to anyone who knows the answer...
I still have not bought the new Liverpool jerseys for this season and I know there is a boycott on merchandise from the LFC official site..
I'm wondering is it okay to buy the jersey from any other retail outlet ie, a normal sports shop.
I was thinking that this would still be bad because the Yanks get a percentage of the jersey sold?
And everybody did this, then a sports store would have to order in more jerseys..

Damn straight.  out of all the shirts I have, I have still never got someones name on the back yet.  And with the way the club is going, I find it pointless still.  Due to the fact will they be still wearing the shirt in a couple months.  If I where to ever get a name on the back though, it would be a club legend.  Probably barnes or rush.
