Man Utd won the league last year with 87 points. They will probably get at least 87 again this time.

To reach 87, we need 36 from 14 games.
      They need 34 from 15.

      Updated.

Performance against clubs has moved back to 0 (it was negative).

Performance over time has decreased to +5 points.  This was from the Boro loss (our 27th game last season was a victory).

Looking ahead to the final 9 games for us, with last seasons corresponding score, and last seasons match score we have

      30. Aston Villa (H) 2-2 [Won game 30 last year]
      31. Fulham (A) 0-2 [Lost game 31]
      32. Blackburn (H) 3-1 [Won game 32]
      33. Arsenal (H) 1-1 [Drew game 33, ironically against Arsenal away]
      34. Hull (A) 2-1 [Won game 34]
      35. Newcastle (H) 3-0 [Lost game 35]
      36. West Ham (A) 0-1 [Drew game 36]
      37. West Brom (A) 1-3 [Won game 37]
      38. Spurs (H) 2-2 [Won game 38]

      Match comparison

For the match comparison you can see we only won 3 out of the corresponding 9 fixtures last season. Losing 3 of them as well.  Anything more than 12 points out of our final 27 would see us improve our match comparison for the season.

      Time comparison

Grabbed 17 points out 27 in our last 9 games last season.

Anything more than 12 points would see our league points total increase.

(Obviously at the end of the season both comparisons will equal each other)

Worst case scenario is -12 points - best case is +15 points.

Just been doing a bit of research and our two most successful year in terms of points are 81-82 (87) and 87-88 (90)

81-82 after 32 league games we had 63 points. (They played 42 league games that season)
87-88 after 32 league games we had 76 points. (They played 40 league games that season)
08-09 after 32 league games we have 70 points.

Last 6 games of the 81-82 season we picked up 12 points.
Last 6 games of the 87-88 season we picked up 10 points.
Last 6 games of the 08-09 season we picked up ?? points.

Alls I can tell from those stats was if we played the same amount of league games as we did in either of our highest point scoring seasons, then I think this side would break both totals.
