Trouble is, a lot of the documented evidence is presented a certain way by people with THEIR own agenda. I come from the viewpoint of 9/11, as I've seen/read/heard hundreds o films/documents etc. As for that gravelly voice n*b'ead Jones, he talks some sh*te him! You wanna try the JREF forums if you're into conspiracy theories ;) http://forums.randi.org/forumindex.php?s=96a6ee716ce57e813efccc5a17c398ed

And I'm not trying to get rid of you so I can take your random threads crown, I swear :)

I looked at JREF site, not convicing though, i am open to all information
but a come to a grave conclusion

the most important thing is the people and what they think and how they act and in conclusion without listening to alex jone or anybody else.

the conclusion is , people dont care until it directly effects them, at that time they sh*t one. So nobody will ever react until its too late, history shows this to be true.

Robby buddy here's a poem/rap/song (i think you'll appreciate) that sum's things up; it's long but so accurate for those of us who remember the punk movement and ethos:

What If Punk Never Happened :

Well on a cold Tuesday morning, I was walking into town,
Had my headphones blaring, didn’t notice what was around,
I crossed the road, a car swerved and nearly ran me down,
Looked in the driver’s seat, I swear to God it was Doc Brown,
He said “Are you Michael J Fox?” I said “No I’m Jonny Fox”,
He said “Close enough, get inside,
I’m taking you with me to see another time,
A place you could only have dreamed in your mind,
An alternative reality situated just outside of Clapham,
      So strap yourself in,
Cos where we’re going you don’t need roads,
To get to where punk never happened”

We landed in a concrete desert, rubble as far as the eye could see,
I says to Doc “Where we goin’?”
      Doc says he’s following me,
We found the only building in the city that was left standing,
      It was my local venue,
I know cos I recognised the landing,
And there’s a gig on tonight! This town ain’t so bad,
I got everything I need, right here in this pad,
So I pulled out a bottle and took a heroic swig,
Made myself comfortable and got ready for the gig,

Well an hour after doors and there was still no-one there,
The soundman was on acid, the F***ing long hair,
The bands never showed cos they didn’t see the point,
When all the kids are at home still smoking a joint,
They won’t go out and do nothing, not on your nelly,
They’re just watching the telly and then feeding their belly,
Their parents listen to The Beatles, while they listen to Nirvana,
Cos Green Day and The Pistols, well they never heard either,

They got long sleeve T-shirts and they never shower,
They still believe in flower power,
The hippy dream’s faded but they got nothing new,
So they wear flares and slippers and burn incense sticks too,
The kids would rather skate than go out and smash the state,
While their parents sit still and meditate,
Action’s at a low when people just don’t care,
They zoned out to their surroundings, the anger’s not there,

And I’m stuck in this hippy, grunge reality,
Where the buildings are crumbling down from apathy,
They grab you at school when you’ve just turned 13,
And show you your brand new, life long routine,
You can sleep and work, and work and sleep,
So you can save up the money to buy a new jeep,
So you can sleep and work, and work and sleep,
Then sleep. Then work. Then work. Then sleep.

I pulled a fanzine out my back pocket, held it in my hands,
And watched the colours slowly fade away,
The words bled right off of the pages til it had nothing left to say,
I banged on the jukebox but it was useless,
It had no good records on,
Not even something weak like ‘The Best Punk Album In The World Ever Volume 1’,
Outside the windows, I saw the excavators coming to tear the place down,
No-one stopped them, for there is no community left in this town,
There’s no-one around to fight Margaret Thatcher,
The power of the flower just couldn’t match her,

Too strong was the will of Parliament to cause damage,
That with no punk rock everything went unchallenged,
Land got knocked down to build more land,
That got knocked down again for a couple more grand,
With no punk the protests were full of throwbacks calling each other comrade,
Of course the young folks’ attendance started to fade,
So it was easy for the police to move in, they were trusted,
And that’s when the whole damn town got busted,

They moved CCTV cameras in everywhere,
But the people were too apathetic to care,
They made them carry ID cards to state where they’re from,
As if by being born they had done something wrong,
They shipped all the poor folk to live out in the edges,
So the rich folk could move in and peer over their hedges,
“But before you leave, you’d better build our homes,
There, we’ve done you a favour, now you’re on your own,
This ain’t your home no more, go find somewhere new,
I know you ain’t got the money, cos it’s me who employs you,
I know everything about you, what you eat, how you dress,
Your hobbies, your turn-ons, your email address,
While I had you working in the dark, you didn’t realise,
That I completely stopped your ability to organise,
I didn’t let you have a reason to communicate,
I banned punk rock knowing you hippies would seal your own fate,
I controlled everything you wrote, everything you created,
I distracted you with advertisements so you forgot what you hated,
I fed your dark side, kept you consuming and competing,
And like a dog that doesn’t know when to stop eating,
You took it all, oh and long was it my intention,
You could have beat me if punk rock was your invention”,
Instead the city will be sold to the highest bids,
If only Sham 69 had of united the kids,

If only the 4 Skins had told us ACAB,
If only The Ramones had let us know we were a happy family,
If only The Buzzcocks had shown us how to do it ourself,
If only Crass had shown us there are things more important than wealth,
If only The Vandals had shown us it was OK to smile,
If only The Dead Kennedys had helped us put our government on trial,
If only Rancid had played live, and brought with them that vibe,
If we had Sick Of It All and Madball we could put them all on the frontline,

If we had GG Allin we’d have learned it’s OK to be hated,
If we’d have had The Refused then we could have innovated,
If we’d had Poison Idea then they couldn’t push us over,
If we’d had Minor Threat then we could have done it sober,
If we’d have had Against Me we could have done it all unplugged,
If we’d had Operation Ivy we could have done it then fu**ed off,
If we had The Blitz, The Clash, Disorder, Propagandhi,
The Exploited, NOFX and anyone that’s handy,

There’s a lesson to be learned, one that I will take home,
When I return to my normal reality zone,
Punk rock has the power to change the world,
It lies in every single punk rock boy and girl,
So don’t let anyone tell you you’re not worth the earth,
These streets are your streets, this turf is your turf,
Don’t let anyone tell you that you’ve got to give in,
Cos you can make a difference, you can change everything,
Just let your dreams be your pilot, your imagination your fuel,
Tear up the book and write your own damn rules,
Use all that heart, hope and soul that you’ve got,
And the love and the rage that you feel in your gut,
And realise that the other world that you’re always looking for,
Lies right here in front of us, just outside this door,
And it’s up to you to go out there and paint the canvas,
After all, you were put on the earth to do this,
So shine your light so bright that all can see,
Take pride in being whoever the F**k you want to be,
Throw your fist in the air in solidarity,
And shout “Viva la punk, just one life, anarchy”

Personally i dont see how we're in recession. In Australia, the same quarter that we had shrunk by 0.2% i believe (first quarter, 2009), it was our biggest ever month of spending in March (19.1b). How? If the government is so keen for us to spend to boost the economy, and we oblige, then how have we fallen this far?

They also went on to state that 5000 jobs had been lost in a suburb in south-west Sydney but almost all (probably 2 or 3) who they interviewed said they were fine. 5000 people in a suburb of probably 20 thousand and 2/3 out of 10 said they lost it?

I don't necessarily believe in all the rubbish i hear but this one has me suspicious.

Yes, can't see how people are spending in Singapore.. its getting crazier. There is this 'Great Singapore Sale' which runs for a two month long period, people are spending in excess of 1000 SG dollars on bags, shoes and what not. Going for the top end brands despite the fact that there is a recession going on. And the outlook here is that the recession is over.. its a little weird to be honest.

I still see the streets of Orchard (Singapore shopping district) crowded with people on weekends, I see new opening of malls in town AND in neighbourhoods. And people are LINING UP.. yes lining up to get into the malls when it gets opened.

So is there a recession? I beg to differ.

The best conspiracy theory by miles is that the 9/11 conspiracy theory is a conspiracy (as seen on south park).

By definition there does appear to be a world economic slowdown but some of the more affluent countries may buck the trend as in the case quoted,if the prevailing economic climate continues and the worlds bankers adopt even more prudent measures even the affluent countries will eventually be affected.
Its always been a puzzle about "recessions" because one day the markets are booming with the footsie going through the roof and the next day the markets crash but what happens to all the trillions of dollars in the meantime, its no coincidence that the USA and the UK are involved in the lunacy in Pakistan,Afghanistan and Iraq which also is costing trillions of dollars and creaming off the markets would certainly help matters.

I would say the far eastern countries will all eventually profit from the western recession, and where will this lead the world, Cheap labour, and the rich getting richer and the poor getting poorer.

GM usa used to be the worlds biggest company, its now gone bust, nobody would have believed this years ago, it was unthinkable, but its happened. And where are the jobs going, GM is relocating to Brasil and to other cheaper labour counties in East Asia.

The world is in a transitional period, the wealth is truely getting creamed off by the elite and we will all end up with a lower standard of living, but we will take it as being normal, people get used to hardship, and we will never have it easy or as good again.

      on a slightly different note

has anybody looked into the turn water into hydrogen engines, they really look false to me, and look to profilt by selling books about sh*t.

The US - during Bush's era - has racked up 8 trillion dollars in debt? Tax cuts and the War on Terror going on at the same time - it equals disaster, really. Add this to the ever demanding public system and the high rate of seniors voting in elections makes for one serious dire economic outlook.

Pretty much what i mean is:

      - Public services (medicare being the main one)
      - The War on Terror
      - Tax breaks (and i mean breaks that cost upto $US1.3 trillion at a time)

All going on at the same time. Medicare is estimated to cost a couple trillion of dollars for the US over a 10yr period. The War on Terror has reached sums beyond belief and tax breaks have cost the US trillions and trillions of dollars.

Now, the business cycle suggests that every 7/8 years on average will we experience a downturn, and thats during 'expected and acceptable expenses'. But in 8 years of Bush's sh*t, the only downturn the economy had was because of 9/11. It was a few years before that any downturn compared.

Loan after loan taken out to service pre-existing loans yet its only now we seem to have been hit. The economic cycle and its maintenance seems abit too fishy to me right now.

Its unbelievable...... the fact is that if any commercial institution had conducted themselves in the way that the US and UK governments are proceeding they would have been declared bankrupt long before now,its accepted that they are morally bankrupt but the funds do not materialise overnight to enable the spending of trillions of dollars on this lunatic conflict.
As pointed out in an earlier post its one hell of a coincidence that a "recession" should kick in now, well maybe not right now as I recall the ball started rolling (guess where)in the USA about 18 months ago with "sub prime mortgages" and a major bank went under only to be rescued by the US government, well that was convenient wasn't it now they had major control of a former private institution. How this affected the UK economy is cloudy territory but a carbon copy situation unfolded with the Bradford & Bingley company and the government here did the same thing this scenario was repeated several times with different companies. As I write and it appears in black and white the premise becomes even more credible these evil individuals have got a lot to answer for.

Some figures over here to toy with - house prices have turned around and for the first time in over 12 months have shown a 2 per cent rise and there's a SHORTAGE of property for sale add to this the reported rise in consumer confidence.
The Bank of England however see things in a different light and have chosen to rase interest rates yet again, just a message to the effect "get back in your box we'll tell you when to come out."

Apollo 11 Moon landing - conspiracy theories debunked

      1) When the astronauts are putting up the American flag it waves. There is no wind on the Moon.

The flag is held up by a horizontal bar and simply moves when it is unfurled and as the pole is being fixed into position by the astronauts. The flagpole is light, flexible aluminium and continues to vibrate after the astronauts let go, giving the impression of blowing in the wind.

      2) No stars are visible in the pictures taken by the Apollo astronauts from the surface of the Moon.

The Apollo landing takes place during lunar mornings, with the Sun shining brightly. Exposure time on the cameras is set very rapid so as not to let in too much light and obscure detail. The stars, whilst being visible to the naked eye on the Moon, are not bright enough to be captured in the photographs.

      3) No blast crater is visible in the pictures taken of the lunar landing module.

The landing module touches down on solid rock, covered in a layer of fine lunar dust, so there is no reason why it would create a blast crater. Even if the ground were less solid, the amount of thrust being produced by the engines at the point of landing and take off is very low in comparison to a landing on Earth because of the relative lack of gravitational pull.

      4) The landing module weighs 17 tons and yet sits on top of the sand making no impression. Next to it astronauts’ footprints can be seen in the sand.

The layer of lunar dust is fairly thin, so the landing module sits on the solid rock. The dust, whilst blown away by the blast from the descent engines, quickly settles back on the ground and is under the astronauts when they begin their moonwalk.

      5) The footprints in the fine lunar dust, with no moisture or atmosphere or strong gravity, are unexpectedly well preserved, as if made in wet sand.

The lack of wind on the moon means the footprints in fine, dry lunar dust aren’t blown away in the way they would be if made in a similar substance on Earth.

      6) When the landing module takes off from the Moon’s surface there is no visible flame from the rocket.

The rockets in the landing module are powered by fuel containing a combination of hydrazine and dinitrogen tetroxide, which burn with no visible flame.

      7) If you speed up the film of the astronauts walking on the Moon’s surface they look like they were filmed on Earth and slowed down.

The best you can say is: yes, a bit, but not really.

8 ) The astronauts could not have survived the trip because of exposure to radiation from the Van Allen radiation belt.

This claim is largely based on a claim from a Russian cosmonaut. The short time it takes to pass through the belt, combined with the protection from the spacecraft, means any exposure to radiation would be very low.

      9) The rocks brought back from the Moon are identical to rocks collected by scientific expeditions to Antarctica.

Some Moon rocks have been found on Earth, but they are all scorched and oxidised from their entry into the Earth’s atmosphere as asteroids. Geologists have confirmed with complete certainty that the Apollo rocks must have been brought from the Moon by man.

      10) All six Moon landings happened during the Nixon administration. No other national leader has claimed to have landed astronauts on the Moon, despite 40 years of rapid technological development.

This is a favourite among conspiracy theorists because it needs no evidence but points the finger at the presidency of Richard Nixon. The fact is that after the Apollo landings, the race had been won and the money dried up. The USSR has no interest in coming second, and politicians on both side realised that lower-orbit missions had much greater commercial and military potential.

OK , some theories say that the CERN collider actually broke on the first day run because it opened a gate to the future or another dimension, and it was sabataged from this gate/the future. is this possible
