Why do other clubs find it necessary to always change their nickname

used to be the gunners...... now their the gooooners.....wtf where did this come from

magpies are now the barcodes...............a t leaste everybody knows the price now

toffees now called the blueshite....oh maybe thats our fault

this annoys me so much.... you know what call marathon a snickers or a opel fruit a starburst...... but never call something different we are and always will be the mighty reds

can anybody else think of annoying and pointless club nick name changes

To be honest mate, I would say Everton's nickname still is the toffees, dont think they ever officially changed it to the blueshite, same goes with the toon  :

yes but the peoples club,,,,isnt that just a bit of self indulgence
maybe they should call it the arty farty owners club
....maybe even.......

if they are taken over by tesco which is likley...... their new phrase could be
