Good workman like performance by the reds. Not championship winning stuff but 3 points and a clean sheet.

Lets hope it kick starts our season. Need to build on this v Spurs and then Galatasary.

Kuyts first for the reds. Well deserved.

Another wonder goal by Xabi, wonderful skill by King Luis and rock solid defending by agger and carra.

Going to watch the highlights on Sky 402, especially Xabi's goal.

Dirk was a class act tonight, should have had a hatrick though truth be known. But what a laugh Xabis goal was total utter F***ing class he is thats why his name is on my shirt f***in aa11 you are xabi F***ing a1 why not have shot from 99 miles away, in fact F**k it put him outside the stadium near the arkles and he can F***ing shoot from there.

I laughed my head off at both goals tonight dirk scores and runs towards the jordy fans he wasnt to know mind then xabi turns up and does that from 99 miles away. Newcastle were sh*te lets face it they came for a draw and got beat should have been 5 or 6 and after seeing xabis goal go in our luck is now on.

Xabi Alonso with his second goal which he hit from his house in Spain.

If a player needed a goal then it was him.

And Kuyt's opened his account.  Come on Craig lad....

A vital three points.  Another 3 points against Spurs and we will have improved on last season.

OMG !!Just watched the game on SS2 - what a goal from Xabi, how did i ever doubt him ? Glad he's got his brilliant form back, made up that Dirk got his first goal and nice to see Little Luis having a decent game, some flashes of absolute brilliance there, we played as a team tonight and showed the critics exactly what we can do - how dare they say our seasons over, looking forward to the papers tomorrow to see them eat their words. The future's looking good fellow reds !!  NORMAL SERVICE HAS BEEN RESUMED !      :D  :D  :D  :D  :D  :D  :D  :D  :D  :D  :D

A couple of points about tonights game.

      1.  Yet again we should have buried Newcastle out of sight.  We didn't kill them off.  They could easily have got a penalty and then what - Bellamy's missed chance, Kuyt's two misses, Garcia's post....we could have dropped two points.

      2. Xabi's goal was great - but if the keeper hadn't have slipped would it have gone in.

Sorry to be a tad pessimistic - just infuriated that we didn't beat them about 6-0 like we should have.  Would have really sent a message out to the Premiership.

Good math. This time we have some luck that in other games we haven't. Good goals, a good team.

But we keep going on this way. Next game Spurs, it's a tough match.

      I have confidence on win.

Alonso's confidence will have a huge boost and Kuyt will keep hitting the back of the net now. Liverpool are on the road to the top of the table. We will crush Tottenham and all opposition that stands in our way.
