What do use think? not sure about alonso cause hes not played well against everton an northern ireland but this is a type of game he could provide goals for us like he ussually does! also i would play warnock if fit cause aurelio has no excpiernce of the champions league! but i would put him on if things r going well with 20mins left! keep reina in and get behind are quality keeper! remember the way some people see it is that no keeper is allowed an off day so he is hammered if e does yet no one is criticising the rest of the team i.e gerrard,carra,hyypia,crouch,fowler

Not sure about Stevie down the left mate. Surely that has to be Gonzalez. Stevie back in the middle with Momo until Xabi sorts his head out. Although when we played Betis last season Rafa picked as many players as poss who had La Liga experience. Don't be surprised if Kuyt and Zenden both start in Holland. Hyypia has played in the Dutch league as well.

Also "Aurelio no experience of Champs League" ? He was part of the Valencia squad that played Champs League football in 5 of the 6 seasons he was there. (Including 2 finals)

REINA? - no chance - give Dudek a chance - he's earning £20 odd thousand a week - he should be given a go and Reina deserves to be dropped.

ALONSO - no.  Steven Gerrard is the best central midfielder in the country - he isn't a left winger. Gerrard and Momo in the middle.  Gonzalez on the right.

Apart from that I agree with the rest.  Aurelio is a good player but he isn't a left back he is a left winger - felt a bit sorry for him in this respect in the derby.

Looking forward to tomorrow night - hopefully putting the Everton game behind us.

I agree with Speedy.  Not a big Alonso Fan.  

I think he's a bit like J Redknapp.  Great guy, lots of talent, but doesn't bring a great deal to team, apart from his range of Passing.   He doesn't beat a man and doesn't score a great deal.

Totally agree but kuyt by himself i think we should put bellamy on leave out alonso but i guess we can do all this at half time?

When avoiding coins and spit ? The Merseyside Derby. Have watched the video as well 90 mins.

You can still get beat and have players who played well.
