I don't understand this topic hasn't the premiership been the force of all leagues around the world why would you want to change it ?

No need to "fix" what isn't broken.

Completely pointless in my eyes. Although I'm all for Celtic and Rangers joining the EPL.

      Truthfully?

Well the post started poorly, tailed off towards the middle and the least said about the end the better. Other than that perfect. ;)

Not a good idea at all.

Where do the 10 other teams go then? Into the Championship? Or do we create a new league for them?

No one likes getting relegated, each season you are replacing a strong force to you reckoned with to a lousier team. 10 seasons later and I can't imagine what would happen to the EPL.

Not a feasible idea at all.

TBH, it would make it more competitive, but those lower leagues are part and parcel of the EPL and it's great when you see one of them beating Manchester United or Chelsea. Keep the EPL as it is and it isn't broken, so there's no need to fix it.

I think you always need the 'lesser teams' in the EPL if you only have quality sides the good matches arent as unique and thus wouldn't be as special.

The lesser teams bring the bigger shocks and last season was the most competitive premier league in a long time down to some of these lesser teams you want get rid off. No thank you.

in the future, i foresee a european super league, perhaps 20 teams big, then with a champions league style tournament, with the top 4 teams earning promotion.

the biggest drawback i see is the difficultly for travelling fans to attend away matches.

I can think of a bigger drawback.......
What if the top four promoted teams are from the same country 4 years in a row? Should we call your league, I dunno, the Premiership?   :-\
