      Bayern set Podolski price

Bayern Munich have revealed that they would be prepared to part with Lukas Podolski for 10million euros (£9.6m).
The Germany international has been attracting interest from a host of clubs in the wake of his continued frustrations at the Allianz Arena.
Podolski joined Bayern from Cologne in 2006, but has struggled to hold down regular first-team football ever since.
His former employers are believed to have tabled a 7.5million euros (£7.2m) approach to take him back to Rhein Energie Stadion, but that will not be enough to secure his signature.
"We have said we want a double figure sum (in millions) and if we are not offered that then the interested club will not recruit the player," Bayern's general manager Uli Hoeness told the tz daily.
"Cologne do not want to pay what we are seeking."
Hoeness also confirmed that he is hoping to have offloaded Podolski 'by the end of January', with Tottenham, Manchester City, Roma and Marseille all reported to have expressed an interest.
Bayern have already completed a deal which will see Hamburg's Croatia international Ivica Olic arrive in the summer as a direct replacement.

£10 million, why arent we jumping on this?????

He plays up front, in the middle and out left, quick, sharp, good technique and a hell of a left foot.

It's something the BBC picked up from Gazzetta dello Sport.

I agree I would not be interested in Podolski at all.

Seriously Milan 8 million for Agger that is even a bigger joke then Lucas Neil to Milan

      sh*t is under rating him
      amazing is over rating him

10mill is very good for Podolski IMO, he'd only have half of Robbie Keanes performances to live up to and i swear to god i could do that much so Podolski could be a good player for us

The question is though, has he improved in his time at Bayern? Domestically, you have to say no he hasn't so he should be going at a lesser price then what they bought him in theory.

He has pace and can dribble but he has nothing else whatsoever. He has a worse shot than Robbie, isnt as clever and certainly doesnt have an aerial threat.

His reputation has been formed by his international performances which is usually the only time they watch him. He isnt prolific in any sense and certainly wouldnt add anything to this side.

I hope he goes to Scum City.

Lukas has been quite poor, many blame Ottmar Hitzfeld because he didn't know how to use him and when Klinsmann came many thought he would be the manager to figure him out cause of how well he played under him at the World Cup but that didn't do much other.

      One-trick pony mate.

On another note, it's becoming more evident that Milan are tabling a €8m offer for our Dagger.

Is this some kind of sick joke? He's a world-class centre-back, worth at least £20m/€21m.

      Bloody Italians!
