I think I accidentally bumped into this forum when looking for a new wallpaper or something I was reading it for quite a while, without joining. Remember Smigger and some guys were racing for something (first to 1000 posts?), and it made me laugh, hehe

Registered July 6th 2006! By looking at my first couple of posts, I think I was looking around for what our new kit was going to be! And the rest, as we all may know, is history.

Just to add to snippets of wisdom regarding the atmosphere and clientele, on looking at other forums, I reckon we've got a cracking bunch here. You can, generally, have an opinion and it is your own without too much bother. I think we're all pretty sharp on spotting gobshites from other clubs and there's a pretty similar sense of humour about the place. Keep up the good work everyone!

One thing I've noticed is that there never seems to be any spam posts/threads, does no spam generally get posted or do you mods manage to delete it straight away? Or has the registering process cut down on this too?

When I was moderator for the Bloc Party forum I used to have to sit there quite often deleting purely spam threads because there were so many.

I just chose it cos it was the first i came across, i was in and out over a year and a half, but now i cant go a day without looking here.

Bit of both to be honest. Although you do get some posters posting a bit of spam.

Cant remember what I had for me tea yesterday let alone why I signed up to the forum 2 years ago I was using Anfield online for a while which lead me to spend a while lurking on the forum finding out it was a friendly bunch on here.

Here Here !! I've made some cracking friends on here, such nice people who I've had the privilege to socialise with over the last couple of years and go to a fair few matches with as well.

In fact, I see/speak/text/pm more of some of you on here, than I do some of my family

I can't tell you which one of us it is though. It's certainly not Smigger, she's definitely female - although a bit more strict than Mr Wolf.

I cant remember why I chose to register on this forum I think I lurked on here for a few weeks and I wasnt the forum type after juggling university and full time work you really dont find a lot of time for forums. But December 07 I was bored at work and decided to register I think first ever post was a rant after the Chelsea Carling Cup defeat when Crouchy got sent off and a certain white booted Brazilian pissed me off so much I wished I got somehow snipe him.

But havent really looked back since registering the mods are down to earth and approachable. You dont neccessarily get shut down if your view is different from the common cohort and you can get an intelligent and informed discussion on most things.

Anyway, this is more like it.
