Was at my mates watching this.  I have no interest in boxing usually but I quite enjoyed watching that!

Don't know about you all but i thought that fight was a joke 4 of my mates got up and went home and if it wasn,t for circumstances i would have joined them ,there was a program on tonight ,When Harry met Ali in it he said i was not conceited i was just convinced, now this is not patronising but may i suggest a few of the younger forumites grab a few DVDs and have a look at what a proper heavyweight is supposed to look like and box like ,then perhaps you wont get so excited over mediocrity.

I appreciate what you're saying Andy, but boxing as a whole has changed since then, especially at heavyweight. I'm 22, and I know how good it was in those days, but it will take a long time before it will get back to what it was, if it ever does.

David Haye is an exciting prospect I think personally, in terms of what he is bringing to the heavyweight scene. It has been boring and slow for many years now and he's bringing that bit of flair back to it. For someone coming up a weight to fight the way he does is worth watching. He keeps his head in, inviting punches and catching some terrific counters.

I'm seriously looking forward to him potentially taking on the Klitschko's. It will be a proper test of Haye's ability taking them both on and it's something I reckon will get people a lot more interested in the Heavyweight division again.

Boxing has become very much dull to me since discovering MMA, and now even some boxers are leaving the sport to jump on the MMA wagon it seems.

Just seen an interview Hatton has done. Basically all but confirmed his retirement, said you need hunger to return to the ring and until he has that he will keep doing what he is doing. Gotten damn fat as well.

      A-Force!!

The fella's got no heart and looks like a lumbering fool, Haye would take him apart.

Plus I seriously depise him after sitting through his slapfest and hugathon with Danny Williams.

Kessler beat Froch,a good fight but the judges score cards where a stupid on the marking IMO how can one judge give a score of 117 to 111 there is just no way but well in Kessler he boxed well off the front all fight and the last last round was a classic toe to toe, unlucky Carl.

True, 117-111 is 9 to 3 rounds, which isnt fair. 116-112 and 115-113 where closer to the truth. Still think my man Kessler won, but it was a good fight. 12th round got me up standing and screaming. That was old school war. Didnt know Kessler had that in him. Good fight.

I'm made up Froch got beat to be honest. His promotional team messed boxing fans around by officially announcing a date. I then booked flights for it, only for them to back track and move the fight.

Plus, he's an arrogant, 1 dimensional plodder who thinks he is better than he is. He lost his last fight to Dirrell, but got a dodgy home town decision. He is now claiming that Kessler got a lucky decision, which is delusional to be honest. He is also threatening to walk out of the super six if his next fight against Abraham is scheduled to be in Germany. I say that if he is as good as he thinks, he shouldn't need to worry about judges being biased against him, he should concentrate on getting the stoppage.

The BIG fight is this weekend for me - Mayweather v Mosley.

Its on Sky at 2am and free to view.

Should be a cracking fight or at least I hope so.

I hope Mosley puts up a good showing and tests Mayweather though.

It's got a points win for Mayweather written all over it.

I cant see it going to points Jase, I get the feeling that one of them will land a few heavy shots and it will be stopped - just cant make up my mind who.
