I have an xbox 360, they are very good with games like gears of war, oblivian and more. PS3 is proberly better so if you not got either console imo get a ps3 if your on a lower budget then get the 360. Don't get the wii its bs

I belive you him, i have an Xbox 360 but i'm no fan boy. I'm the most unbiased person you can meet and the Playstation 3 proberly is better. Maybe not now because 360 has better games but in the near future PS3 will blow Xbox 360 apart with games like Metal Gear Solid 4 & Gran Turismo 5, Tekken 6 & Socom 4

Probably because of the blu-ray disc. But I've seen the graphics and they are just as good as the 360. So what could the difference be? The controllers are wireless but so are the 360's.
Hmm, is the online 'free' for the PS3?
Because I know Microsoft are making a huge profit off the Xbox Live.
Maybe next year I will contribute to a PS3 when there are more games/consoles available. But untill then.... 360 all the way.

The new GTA4 comes out on the 360 October 19th day after me birthday , good games will be comming out on both consoles but PS3 will have to do a lot of work to make a game better than Gears Of War

The Online is Free - what is on XBox ? £10 a month? £120 a year? Reckon your XBox 360 + your live subscription has already cost you more than a PS3 in total (if you got it when it came out)?

No High Def movie player in XBox - need to ... guess what ... pay more.

60 Gb hard drive.  Wireless and wired internet.  Bluetooth.  Not too sure on the specs on the XBox.  Is there many 1080 games on the XBox or are they all 720p?

With regards to Gears of War, I have never played it but the PS3 has Resistance: Fall of Man.. widely considered to be one of the best games currently available?

With consoles people tend to get very protective of the one they own.  I understand your arguments there Court.  You've paid a lot of money for your machine and games. 

It's always been like that - I used to have a Spectrum and hated the Commodore 64 gangs - then I got an Amiga and hated the Atari ST gang. 

My console history is: The Original Atari !! Sega Master System II, Sega MegaDrive, Sony Playstation, Nintendo 64, Sega Dreamcast (terrible), PlayStation 2, PSP and now PS3.

I don't expect to be buying another console for a long time.

One cool feature I thought I would just mention - handy if you have a PSP as well as the PS3....

Your PS3 can store up to 60Gb in music, video, photos, PSP compatible games (if your PSP is chipped).  Wherever there is a wireless connection in the world, if I have my PSP I can access all the files on my PS3 and watch the films, listen to the songs, play the games...

The trailer will be released for GTAIV in 4 days time.  Looking forward to that game.

Got my free copy of Casino Royale BR yesterday. (Cheers Sony although guess I did 'sort of' pay for it anyway).

I got a pretty basic Bluetooth one for a mobile from Tesco of all places.  Not sure if it is any good, use it with Resistance (which I am shockingly bad at) and also Motorstorm.  Call of Duty 3 doesn't use the mic - but hopefully CoD 4 will do - those are the types of games where I think it works best.

Maybe see you online then and when PS3 Home comes out in a couple of months you can come round to 'my house' and have a beer while watching the video collection....
