He said the deal will only happen if we get Gomes, Gilberto and Bent ::)

      How's that for a shock ;)

There will be no one coming in. We have no funds. The money from the Keane deal is going straight to the bank manager.

I think letting him go was a mistake. If Nando was out Id rather see Robbie playing up front than N'Gog

      Or Babel/Kuyt.

Not a good move.Especially in January.

Ah, we have the Liverpool finance manager here guys. Think our hopes of a new player are lost.

i think it's obvious dont you, thats why they wanted a cash and player deal for Keane, 'cos they can't spend.

      Official: Keane joins Tottenham Hotspur
      February 2, 2009
Robbie Keane has joined his former club Tottenham Hotspur, it has been confirmed.

The Reds reached an agreement with Tottenham this afternoon for the transfer of Robbie Keane back to White Hart Lane.

The fee is still undisclosed however, sources close to the deal have revealed the fee is around £15million.

Keane’s medical at Tottenham has just finished and a Liverpool spokesman said: “Liverpool Football Club have reached agreement with Tottenham Hotspur for the sale of Robbie Keane.”

Keane made 28 appearances for the club, scoring just 7 goals.
