Dont worry the match would be all but over by then with Torres grabbing his hat-trick & letting Ngog to toy with the toffees in the second half

Carragher has played 16 games in a row he, as much as I love seeing him in the side, needs a rest. Arbe tho is only back from injury and has but 4 games back to back so maybe he needs a rest? Could Darby step into a derby game?

Also the Torres situation. 2 long injury spells do we risk playing him tonight and again the weekend? That would 5 or 6 games in a row for him then!!

Do not want to lose or have to play more then 90 minutes tonight but would also like to do it knowing our main men are fresh for pompey. Greedy I know  ;)

I'd take a 5-0 defeat tonight in exchange for a 1-0 win at Portsmouth on Saturday. It's the Premiership we want this season, not the FA Cup (or the Champions League for that matter). So I'd say rest our best players (Gerrard, Carragher, Torres etc.).

If they last 120 minutes would they have won the treble?

Why didn't you just say, I'd rather get beat other than you would rather have the shame of going in to work/college tomorrow and be caned by a team that is fighting for the UEFA Cup places!

      Poor David.

It's not injury we've been feigning. It's mediocrity.

I'm hoping we deliver another spectacle of total football at Goodison this season.

If you're going tomorrow don't forget your Tesco bags.  Get a couple of them in your pocket/shoes.

      Tesco bags?

I take it you don't live in Liverpool then? The Tesco bags are a dig at Everton and their involvement with Tesco. You'd take a 5-0 defeat off of the dirty bitters? Imagine the stick and gloating we'd get off all the wankers. Hell they cheered both draws like they were victories at Anfield. Imagine what it'd be like if they did somehow manage to do the impossible?

No, I'm from the Midlands. I suppose I don't understand how evil they can be. But you know what I mean...I really wouldn't want one of our players to be injured in an FA Cup match (even against the blueshite), hence sacrificing another 2 points at least in the League...again.

I don't live in the Merseyside area either. I live in an area littered with ManUre fans. Which is arguably just as bad :D

What happened to building momentum, we can't wrap Torres in cotton wool forever, want us to smash this sh*te tonight, move on and smash pompey, time to show our teeth.

That slaphead looks like Matt Lucas

Few other tits there too, check out the lad in grey t-shirt standing, his cheeks are going red in anger.

Nothing better than seeing the mongrels get a nark-on.

Anyone heard what Lampard barked after his red card was rescinded? "It's a pity it (the red card) cost us the match!" It's our dominance that won us the match you pillock! He's trying to be their hero.
