      And another point....

The reds have played at the Nou Camp in European Competition three times before....

1976 UEFA Cup Semi Final - We won 1-0
2001 UEFA Cup Semi Final - We drew 0-0
2002 Champions League 2nd Group Phase - We drew 0-0

      Not quite so scary then...

Mind you they did beat us 3-1 at Anfield in the reverse fixture in 2002 - the last time the two sides met.

The only time that they have beaten us! if we keep it tight and get a draw or we're within a goal of them after the first leg we can go through. But we really do need a team of Carraghers in Barca defend and flustrate!!! This game lasts 180 minuates and we need to be within touching distance after the first leg. A draw or a defeat by 1 goal and I think we'll do it in the second leg. If we're 2 or more down and we'll need a St Ettienne perfomance  8)

Can anyone tell how much round about  how much you'll have to pay for a liverpool v barcelona ticket from a tout outside the nou camp. I've priced flight tickets at £177 return. I've never been to a euro away game so I dont know!

Why don't you look in to just buying via the Barcelona ticket office first if you don't think you will be able to get a ticket through Liverpool?

I wouldn't expect you to have to pay more than £60. If that.

you guys are so lucky......what a dream draw and you get to be at the match....very jealous.....I wish I could be there but saying that, probably wouldn't get a ticket, as every red fanatic will be cheering on the boys to a famous, famous victory.....Barcelona are a top side but WE ARE LIVERPOOL and we can beat anyone on our day......I know you guys and girls will be cheering your lungs out but give an extra cheer for us Aussies down here and really ram home the 12th man advantage...

      Finnan    Carra     Hypia      Riise

Alves (if we get him)  Momo  Xabi    Garcia
                                 Gerrard

                                 Kuyt

Thats for the 1st leg as we need to keep it tight and catch them on the break.

If we bought Daniel Alves he would be ineligable for the match.

It will be impossible to stop Barca scoring so that means we have to create the chances against them aswell.
If Sissoko is back i still think this game is not for him, its for Alonso & Gerrard and maybe Gonzalez & Pennant on the wings but Gonzalez has to get involved in the game more than usuall. Bellamy & Kuyt up front... Bellamy is our main striker without a doubt and its between Kuyt & Crouch to fight it out.

I think at the Nou Camp the reds will definitely play with Garcia (if fit) and another striker rather than 2 out and out strikers.

Maybe Garcia and Crouch for that one.  By then Pennant and Gonzalez will be flying.

And I hope Gerrard will have the game of his career...

But its a long way off and we don't know what (if anything) will happen in January transfer window.

at the end of the day, their just another team. a team that should be worrying more about playing us, than us worrying about them.
we've shown europe that we can conpete with the best (if anything, we play better against the bigger european clubs)
and with rafas inside spanish knowledge ;) and if we can keep this form going til feb, BARCA--------- RUN, cause lfc are going to kick your arse

We can certainly bet Barca, can't wait for the tie.

Sammy Eto'o is a doubt for the games so that's a bonus, they have dipped in form this season, hopefully we can turn them over after a smash and grab at the Camp Nou. ;D ;D ;D

      Overconfidence gets no one anywhere.
He's set to be the next Diego Maradonna.
Not being funny, but he's far from it.
