GUYS - PROBLEM. GERARD IS NOT PLAYING IN ARSENAL MATCH.....

IS THIS GONNA BE A PROBLEM?

Please do not post in capitals.

Anyway, while we'd all love Stevie to be back, we have proved that we can win without him.

      sh*t YOU'RE RIGHT LET'S PANICKKKKK !!!!!!!!

We played well enough againt chelsea without Gerrard, we can do the same against Arsenal and beat them.

I think this might be a blessing in disguise as it allows the same XI who played chelsea to play again and they must be full of pride after that match.
Weird to say, but even though we lost I'm sure the confidence is high amongst those players.

We played and beat united at home without Gerrard if my memory serves me correctly. He came on and played the last 20 minutes but didn't make a difference in the teams performance.(by which i mean we never won the game because he came on).

I'm very confident that we'll win this one.

We did it against Blackburn 4-0 without him.
We scored 4 at Chelsea at the Bridge.

Why cant we win it without Gerrard now? 1-0, 2-1, or 5-0, I don't care. Just 3 points will do nicely for me.

Read he's gonna miss the Hull game as well. But we can do it without him and we've shown it.
Furthermore, the lads would also like to show we aren't a one man/two men team. I don't think we are but many people think so.

Hull are terrible! I wouldn't worry about Hull, but Arsenal is a bit of a blow. I think we've got enough quality though. Come on Lucas!!!

With Gerrardn out, our lineup will probably be: Reina, Arbeloa, Carragher, Agger, Aurelio, Alonso, Mascherano, Benayoun, Riera, Torres, Kuyt in an almost 4-2-2-2 formation.

For those going on Tuesday night, don't forget there will be mosaic/tribute in honour of Ray Kennedy on both The Kop and away end of Anfield Road.

The Kop will be all red with a white '5'. The Arsenal section will be all yellow with a blue '10'.

Try and get in early and give this great, great player the tribute he deserves.

      Damn.

We could have done with Gerrard, but to be honest I think we showed we're fully capable of scoring goals without him on Tuesday.

We could have won comfortably with him. Now we're only going to win 3-1.

No sir, if Insua doesn't play, I'll eat my hat. Not that I have a hat. They don't really suit me.

      What about Fabio then?
He's on top form right now. Who else is gona take the gary mccallister-esque free kicks? :)

Maybe we should put Aurelio on the left wing.

My feeling is that Aurelio isn't quick enough against Walcott. And Insua is a more sturdy defensive player. Yep wouldn't mind seeing Fabio at left wing, but as stated he has a lot of competition from: Riera, Dossena, Babel or Benayoun.

nothing to be worried about...let gerrard have his rest and we'll continue terrorizing the gunners next. we have done it without gerrard against blackburn, why not now...maybe 2 or 3 seasons ago we'll should be worried if he got injured, but with the quality he have right now, I think wenger that be worried right now.

so will kuyt and arbeloa on right..

That would be amazing but this is defiantly the hardest game of the last 6 so I don't care how much we win by just as long as we win, but 4 - 0 would be very nice.

We will do well, I think we will win by 2 atleast, depends on the Arsenal that show up. Either the one that is tired and down from today's defeat to Chelsea, or an Arsenal looking to prove a point after a bad game.

We can beat this side..... even without Stevie.....
Arsenal's back four are poor.... they even have the donkey Silvestre as a centre back... Jeez.
Our centre backs need to provide long balls and we can punish this side. I can smell a comfortable victory but be wary on Walcott and Arshavin

Arsenils goalie looks really bad.we need to be taking shots from all over the place. If we score 1st we`ll win easily.
