I wouldn't exactly call Gerrard poor in the last 18 months. True, he has some really sh*t games in that period but just because he hasn't been scoring like back in 2008/2009, doesn't mean he has been a poor player.

It's also called the All Time Premiership 11 and not the Last 18 Months Premiership 11 and a Steven Gerrard at prime or overall in his football career, he's generally way better than Paul Scholes at prime.

Bad news for Paul Scholes is, he can never be as good as Gerrard but the good news is, he can try.  ;D

Scholes will never be better then Gerrard, we can agree there although Gerrard is not "way better", just slighty better. Although I think Scholes is more consistent. Even at the age of 35 he is still a very important clog in a title challenging side. Gerrard has been poor last 18 months, i don't think anyone can say different there.

                             Reina

      Sagna       Adams      Ferdinand    Irwin

      Ronaldo      Gerrard    Lampard      Giggs

                       Shearer    Henry

Sagna best right back since the premiership began? He's good but not quite that good IMO. Rest of that team seems spot on, although I would have Hyypia over Ferdinand but it's a close call.

      Schmeichel
      Babbel Carragher Hyypia Cole
      Viera Alonso
      Ronaldo    Gerrard       Giggs
      Henry

Subs: Reina, Ferdinand, Vidic, Keane, Ginola, Shearer, Fowler

I know he didn't play for very long in the PL but Babbel was truly immense for us in 2001, such a shame that he got ill.

Even Scholes at his very best is still not a patch on Stevie G, Stevie has everything you need in a footballer and much much more, comparing him to that manc little twunt really pisses me off  :f_steam:
