It was never a case of wanting to leave, he had no choice after the way he was treated.

I'm fairly sure I remember him putting in a written transfer request this summer.

Anyway I'm tired with wind-up merchants who fail to post after victories, and then go off on a frenzy after a defeat, so I probably won't be quoting you again.

I said my bit earlier on but here's a different perspective.  I've just been in to see my boss who is a Chelsea fan.  He thought they were lucky, most decisions went for them yesterday.

Although we lost, I think it's encouraging that we equalled Chelsea on the pitch in every area, apart from the two goals, and they're supposedly flying.  We were never outplayed, and I thought for large parts of the game we looked the better side.

One thing I noticed (especially in the first half) was that whenever Reina or one of the defenders would try to get the ball up field, they would lob passes in the air.  The majority of the time a Chelsea player would win the air battle and head it to another Chelsea player.  I think we lost valuable possession getting the ball up field because we kept loosing the air battles.

The times we actually passed the ball up the ranks along the ground we seemed to be in a better attacking position.

Not that any of this matters as the result was a loss, but just food for thought.

We were outplayed an outclassed in every area imo... Huge dent on any title aspirations which we had. :(

Is discrimination a bannable offence on this forum. IF there was a manc on this forum, I'm sure they would be very upset by some of the childish remarks being made here.

So you're either a manc on a Liverpool forum, or a Liverpudlian on a manc forum.
