Krasic has a very good work rate, a good tackle, tracks back a lot. Ticks all the boxes. He'd be tailor-made for the right midfield role.

If £12m is the fee then it makes a mockery of transfer prices in England when Kenwyne Jones can command a similar price after achieving nothing.

I would be very happy with this signing but aren't City interested as well, to be honest if they are can't see us competing with them for a player. But then maybe the player would prefer to play with a club with a bigger tradition rather than going for money I'm not holding out much hope on that count though.

Very good player just can't see it happening if Hicks and Gillette are still at the helm in the Summer. Some of the papers today suggest we are even struggling to sign players on free due to our financial situation.

according to serbian media, the deal is done, officially, the transfer will go through this summer. not sure about the price. he's a fantastic player, really, should have gone to a big club years ago. he plays equally well as a right or left winger, but im not sure he can play as a striker, because he's much more useful as a winger. he's better than benayoun at the moment, really, and he was officially the best serbian player last year, beating vidic. i hope he proves himself in liverpool
