he's a decent enough player who always scores goals. decent finish and good header of the ball. would also hepl in defending free kicks or corners. A big improvement on voronin. I'm not saying he's a world beater but a good option for the bench

He doesn't always score goals, his premiership goal record is sh*te, why would you sell sh*te like Voronin and replace him with sh*te like Beattie.

You are better off trying to develop your young players because I'd already think Pacheco, Ngog, Amoo and Eccelston are better players than Beattie. I was hoping his thread would disappear off he first page.

Erm yes Beattie would be a short term but really we all know that its not the answer.

We should of kept Crouch and signed Dean Ashton when he was at Crewe.

Defo not the answer. I think this may just be some sort of a sick joke.

How could we have kept Crouch, when it was Crouch that wanted to leave?

And when was the last time dean ashton played a game of footy? Had promise a few seasons back when he was at norwich but since then hes struggled and has been pretty much a flop at west ham.

Back to beattie though, i can't believe this topic is still going lmao. He's the worst player i've EVER seen LFC linked too, EVER.

Dean Ashton retired from football, mate.

Shows how clueless that comment was.

When did i say dean ashton was still playing? I said he has been a flop at west ham, mainly due to injuries. Asked when was the last time he played a football game, making the point he has been finished for a while now.

I was replying to a comment that somebody said we should have signed dean ashton when he was at crewe, and my point was what did he actually achieve since crewe. the answer is nothing except show a tiny bit of promise at norwich.

So what a silly thing to say.

Before you snap at somebody, I suggest you re-read their comment. Why you would do that is anybodys guess anyway. A tiny bit weird.
