Sky sports to broadcast in 3D today
      Jan 31, 2010 03:40:18 pm
Sky sports are to broadcast todays game between Arsenal and Manchester United in 9 secret pubs in 3D. No doubt another ploy to relive the fans of even more money, or am i being over cynical.

Ye I heard about this, I still don't fully understand the concept of 3D,especially in a live sporting event, doesn't make sense to me. I'm pretty happy looking at a decent sized TV with a good picture.

I don't see the big deal about 3D. Also, I don't get how 3D would enhance my viewing of a football match? Would it be like things flying out at me, or more subtle?

I don't really see the point.

Whats the point in trying to do it in 3D? Just another way for them to whack up the price.

The very definition of gimmick. I take it their HD drive hasn't paid off.

Summed up by some bellend in one of the trial pubs saying something like "it's like you're actually there"

Big deal, just another reason to hate modern football!

They really ought to do a 3D porn channel if that's the case. I'd buy it.

But 3D of Steve Bruce's big fat head?

      Some 'bellend' being the focus.

Actually, I'm all for it if it keeps the bellends away from games.

I would pay to see Martin Skrtel kicking Rooney's fat arse while punching Fergie in the balls in 3D.
