Decent performance, controlled the match but were awful in the final third. need to be much more clinical.

There's no such thing as a 'first attempt failing' on the Kop mate.  xxxxx:action-smiley-065: Where about where you?

Well that's Pacheco's night ruined isn't it mate. His name gets sung by the Liverpool faithful and he finds out that it was started by RedKenny, what a disappointment that must of been.

;D I know. I seen more than three players walking off looking over their shoulder in disgust in my general direction. Cheeky bas**rds. Found out when I got the Cabbage that it was because I know you though.  :f_whistle:

I tell you what. Theres some right beauts posting a whole load of tripe in here.

We won. A clean sheet against a stubborn side who are the Champions of Romania.

I'm fairly happy with that at the moment.

The way we started the match I thought we were going to go on a goal spree, unfortunately as has happened before we were unable to beat a packed defence. That was until Pacheco got his head to that cross and nodded the ball down to Ngog,Pacheco did very well to get to the ball considering he was tightly marked by two defenders.Hopefully in the return next week they will have to open up and that should create chances for us.In the end a win is a win and lets face it if we won every match one nil there would be few complaints---or would there.

You take that back too. :D Don't you know that football is now solely performance orientated? We could lose but at least we'd lose playing beautiful football! F*ck the result. ;)

      Is right fella!

      :lmao: Love it.

Them extra officials were f*cking pointless last night. And they kept walking on the pitch. You don't see the linesman doing that do you? Got to comend UEFA on creating more jobs though. ;)

Coulda given me the job the bas**rds. Its just UEFA refusing to even consider goal-line technology isn't it, really? I only listened so didn't really see what they were doing exactly, but im guessing not a hell of a lot from what i have read :D

Just wandering on the pitch, about as useful as a spare fallice in a pornographic film.

They don't really contribute to any decisions.

Fantastic. Truely fantastic, wonderful to see that they are crying out for EPL clubs to stop spending, but a couple more useless officials on the pay-roll is A-ok.

Love the governing of this game.

      I think so.

But to be fair, I don't think these fellas would be much an improvement over the linesman from what I saw. I don't think they'd have a much better view on set pieces where the box is crowded either.

There are occasions where they could be useful, but not enough to justify their presence.

Just whack a bloody beepy lasery thing on the goal line and get over it!

Yeah, pretty soon you will have as many officials as there is players. But at the end of the day, they most often will not be in a great position to call whether the ball crossed the line. The amount of bodies flying around often will get in the way.

I want the bloody beeby lasery thing!

First thing the media, again they talk about us like we should have scored 6 against Unirea, who are very well organised team and tough to break down, so what if they haven't trained for two months they are still a well organised team, saying that I still think we will get through,

It helps when not conceding a goal comes into it's own in the away game, they now have to come out to score and that leaves gaps, their keeper also had a very good match, he saved them on a few occasions,

The pen that was not given, the hand ball that was not given, again a ref must have decided Masch had dived when brought down, why wasn't he booked. It was on the edge of the area and his momentum carried him in, so at the very least we should have had a free kick, one other thing that annoyed me was the falling over their players did to earn free kicks, and nearly all were given so why wasn't Mascha's given.
