Hate to say it but Benfica are not a bad team, so it won't be easy. Think we'll go through over two legs though 2-1 on aggerate.

I don't expect us to win in Portugal.  They're probably one of the only teams in Europe who have given us a solid beating in the last 5 years.

The biggest disappointment for me in Lille was not scoring.  It left us sweating on needing three goals at home when we had only lost 1-0 away.

So for me, it's vital that we get at least one away goal.

the skum beat milan by quite a few and milan are a far better team than benfica, we beat madrid last year convincingly so we have nothing to be afraid of, lets keep this recent confidence up and go and finish this in the first leg!

Want rafa to give the same tactics and give the same team talk as he did before the sunderland game. Yossi for maxi, attack and play in ahigh tempo manner once again and give another passionate performance and then personally i don't care if we lose. Just want to feel proud and inspired

Lucas to cover Insua and Masch to cover Johnson or take the risk and leave Gerrard in the middle.....

Play Babel and Yossi on the wings, Gerrard / Masch in the middle and Kuyt/Torres up front.

Have to look for an away goal - this midfield/attack set up can still be compact but will have enough to worry them on the break.

They're not even on the same wings... (Di Maria plays on the left flank, so Johnson will have to take care of him).

Benfica is a good team, but Liverpool can beat anyone in the world. Think we'll win 2-1.

They have enough to hurt us but i don't think they will too much. If we keep them contained for long/well enough i'm sure we can win it.
