Danny Wilson (Liverpool -> Hearts)

wilson by far, not the finished article, came in & done a decent job covering for davie weir (40) in a poor scottish league, but his performances in europe (& against celtic) were assured.
he's not at premiership level yet, but a few more seasons with rangers (maybe buy now, loan back?) & he would be a decent addition to squad,
rangers "meltdown" isn't as bad as reported..their debt is about £30m & with their vast support & marketability are able to service their debt easily...it was the bank who panicked not rangers.

 

He won't be at "premiership level" playing at Rangers,or any other team in Scotland.He would have no future at Liverpool, unless he did a good loan spell at a top Championship club.And then he would have to out-perform our outstanding Ressies.Birmingham would be a better bet.

Im from Scotland and a Celtic fan he's a decent player for Rangers and will probably grow into a good player. He's tall, reads the game well and is calm on the ball with a decent left-foot. It's more hype than anything that surrounds him now though, ive not seen him have a game where he's stood out atm he's being praised for just "not looking out of place", he's also a Celtic fan I believe. He wasn't assured against Celtic either, he was tottally bullied in a very one sided match, being waltzed through several times although the match finished 0-0 he and Weir that day were ripped apart a good 5/6 times. He'd be better to stay at Rangers until he is atleast 20 to get more experience.

Agree he would have to be sent out on loan or he will just sit in reserves along with ayala and mavinga

That is Bullsh*t he not singed a new contract at Rangers yet the deal I think will be we sing Willson loan him back to Rangers for a season and play Rangers pre season again Willson does not want to sign a deal yet. Talking of Contacts has Carragher singed one for next season.

It definitely is - Rangers are in deep deep sh*t financially and a reasonable offer of ~ £2M maybe rising depending on success will be enough to get him.
He's a left footer so if we get him don't rule out him being converted to a left back....

I say we shouldn't even bother. 8 million should be used towards another player that is already ready for first team football.

Yeah this makes no sense what so ever. That's basically handing Rangers money for nothing in return for another what 6 or 12 months?

It'll ne nowhere near £8M - Rangers have sold 2 of their better players in the past year (Ferguson and Perdro Mendes) for £1M a piece

cant see it happening tbh - we've got no money let alone 8million to be spending on a young defender who wont even play for us next season (at best)

According to IMScouting he has turned down a contract extension for Rangers.

Kelly and Ayala broke though this season. Add Carra Agger Skrtel and Sotis into the mix and I really dont see the point in this signing
