amoo. Do you reckon thats who he will call up? When times have got like this he tends to look to the most experienced reserves I reckon. But kellys injured ayala and pacheco are already in. Irwin played the other night in the reserves I think. Was there anyone who didnt play i the reserves that they may have rested for the first team. Whoever it is they won't be getting on but be a big thing for amoo if he did.

Dalla Valle and Sokolik only featured in the second half and both trained with the first team this week

b***ard typical! I've been day shifts for the last 6 months, and now i have to work a night shift in Droitwich tonight, F***ing bas**rds! I'll get to watch the first half, but then i'll have to leave for work! So that means i'll have to record the second half and run the risk of having to smash some f**ker's face in if they mention the score in work!

Am hoping Rafa goes with Aquilani from the start. Not that bothered if Kuyt or NGog are injured, as i think Babel could make a name for himself tonight, in his preferred position as well.

Well I hope he is on the bench...perhaps he could redeem himself by performing on the big stage tonight.

Whether we like his attitude or not the fact remains he is still an able winger. I remember his debut against Manchesterand he was cutting through their defenders like a knife through butter.


As I thought he was in Russia the thought of his position in the Spanish World Cup squad did not enter my mind...but how inthe world can the Spanish justify selecting Riera for the squad based on his non-football-playing status (whenwas the last time he even played agame)..

I feel Benitez is having the last laugh...he who laughs last laughs louder.

However, I am not a vindictive type and Riera is our player so I hope he can feature tonight (in a WIN!!!) and all is forgiven.

What an attacking line up....lookes good for us but NOT so good for Madrid.

Benayoun and Aquilani on the field spells fantasy football. Ijust hope they can get a penalty kick or two with their trickery. It is obvious that the Spaniards will have an unfair game plan to contendwith the skills of Benayoun and Aquilani...the official must be strong.

The officials in the European competition tend to be of a higher level usually...lets hope this is the case tonight
