I think the world of football will change had it been City going to the Champions League. Glad they didn't.

Spurs been pushing for it for the last few years and they deserve it.

Don't know how anyone else felt watching Spurs and City go head to head for the 4th champs league spot but they looked streets ahead of City and if the truth be told they are way ahead of us in terms of squad depth and balance of the team .Altough I am no lover of Redknapp he really has turned the fortunes of the club full circle , I really did not want them to finish 4th because they will now be able to attract the players , who in the past would probably not gone there where as City will sign players on the promise of wealth alone , seriously worrying .

Spurs could face a real tough tie in the prelims for the group stage, wonder how long citys benefactors will wait for success?

I can see city's destabalisation continuing - if mancini gets sacked and they start the year poorly, then it's not impossible that his replacement could go as well.

I don't think 'arry has the nous to be successfull in europe

I don't think they will be able to hold onto it in all honesty, next year you may see Villa, ourselves and most notably Man City, then you have Chelsea United and Arsenal all investing in our respective squads and that push for top 4 will become far from a mere formality for any club trying to achieve it.

All brings it back to our 1st game of the season when we lost to them - but should not have, had the ref been watching the game.  That was the beginning of our bad luck season, and poor form.

We must have been watching different games then, I saw a Spurs side create numerous good goal scoring chances, play with width and pace and go for the win.

Reminds me of a team I used to know..
I guess...Bale had a good shot on goal, just missed and Defoe.

However It just didn't seem to go anywhere.  I didn't hear sh*t from the City fans, The Spurs fans got into it after the goal..I guess I didn't watch the same match because I thought it was boring. Bad passes on both sides, slow play, City didn't do sh*t.

Spurs deserve to be in CL. They did what they needed and made it. I wish them luck.

Anyone seen the video of Harry getting the Gatorade treatment during his post-match interview? Pretty funny actually, good to see that joy in the team. Wish it was us though!

      Saw that on SportsTonight.

Fair do's. I would of felt like doing the same.

Doubt the reporter was happy with being splashed though.

This thread is hilarious! I guess even in Manchester, the sun shines on a donkey's ass every now and then.
