Was a good idea when the thread started . Too many clubs will probably fight it out for his signature. In the 20 mil bracket due to the world cup inflated market.

It's just been said on BBC that he's being linked to Barca.

Have they had an application to have more than eleven players on the pitch at the same time accepted, or something of a similar ilk? Barcelona II perhaps? Their squad is going to be f**king amazing next season.

I've heard they will sign him and then loan him right back to his club.

No chance on earth are we going to get this lad. Unless Werder Bremen will accept the £20m-£30m that hes worth over 20 years?  :D

If Gerrard happens to leave this summer there wouldn't be many better replacements out there, not that I'd every want Stevie to leave of course and Ozil probably wouldn't want to come anyway. He's been linked with every top European team around now, definitely think he'll be leaving Germany though.

If he moved to Arsenal (and if he did he would become a sensation) with Joe Cole, Balotelli then they could be totally deadly. Out of anyone in the world I'd love to see him in a Liverpool shirt and we then could let our minds to rest as to who could fill the boots of Gerrard. But I know it's just not going to appetize him after the shocking season of last.

Watched him play Spain and not impressed.

Even when Xavi was a few metres away from him in possession of the ball, he can't be arsed chasing. Not a hard worker. He expects things to be delivered to his feet. In fact, I saw him strolling around for the whole of the second half. To keep it short, he can't be bothered.

If that is the case then I'm no longer interested in a player who doesn't want to fight for everything.

      You're wrong here mate.

Ozil had a fantastic world cup. One not so good game doesn't make a player bad. He's one heck of a talent. His through balls are absolute daggers. The lad works hard for the team. Maybe he was tired or what against Spain.

Ozil was one of the superstars of the WC. I would absolute love Watching Ozil playing in the Almighty Red shirt.
