My tongue is firmly in cheek when I've said about a swap involving Turan. Would be nice like, although I'd see that as player plus cash.

We'll soon see anyways. Cash deal could be pushed through quickly to fund another last minute deal. Hopefully. But this looks like it's happening.

UPDATE - if you google Insua and Galatasaray, a thread comes up that he's in Instanbul tomorrow to sign a one year loan deal.

I'd F***ing love if it was a player plus cash deal for Turan. But I know it's not.

You never Know, I'm sure Roy knows the lad is keen on playing for us. I just want us to sign a striker, more of a priority IMO.

But ill take both.

insua will be in istanbul airport tomorrow morning , he will be playing for a year ( loan ) , i am hundred percent sure arda turan will be staying for galatasaray this year , but as he said before , he want to play for liverpool for sure , maybe next season , who knows

what a big surprise for me! i turned on tv and saw this new. I think it will be good loan agreement for galatasaray and liverpool.

after i read what liverfans think about insua , i am a little dissapointed , hope it will be just the oppposite , otherwise we will  finish the leage at the bottom )

So really, is Insua any good, can you guys give us some feedback about his performances? Most importantly, is he fast and a good crosser?  We are really happy with the two ex-Liverpool players in our squad (Kewell and Baros, two best players in our squad arguably), so instinctively we have good feelings about this signing

Also, on this page I saw some posts about Liverpool signing Güiza... You've got to be totally out of your minds to be doing that Güiza has had dreadful two years at fener, ne is now the 4th choice striker for the team. They signed him two years ago for 14mil euros, but now they are trying to offload him for only 5mil just to open up a free space for foreign players. And no one's even paying that. Del Bosque also stopped calling him for the international squad. Would be a candidate for the worst signing of the season imo
