France:  Lloris; Sagna, Gallas, Abidal, Evra; Toulalan, Diaby, Malouda; Govou, Anelka, Ribéry

Mexico: Pérez; Moreno, Osorio, Rodríguez, Salcido; Márquez, Juárez, Torrado; Giovani, Franco, Vela

Govou is still in the team and Domenech sent Gourcuff to the bench  >:(

Which is a shame cause France have one of the best teams of the World Cup on paper (considering the players he didnt call too). Well, a shame for them, I couldnt care less about France :P

But Gourcuff on the bench sucks for my Fantasy team.

I have no idea, doesnt make any sense to me. Every time I watched Ochoa play for America he made a few world class saves, I think it's clear he is a lot better than Perez.

Am I the only one who thinks Toulalan is a great midfielder? Really like his style, he's everywhere in midfield, defends well and is also good with the ball. Shame he had to stop the counter attack and received a 2nd yellow, as a result he will miss the next match. Would be great for Liverpool I think.

Looking at his statistics he doesn't really look like he has much creativity though, 2 goals and 10 assists in 278 games.

He sits a bit deeper than Alonso and is a tad more defensive but is a very good passer and can find a team mate from anywhere.

Outstanding for Lyon in their transitions.

It would be a little bit of justice if France went out wouldn't it? Of course nothing replaces actually getting their, but it would be a small piece of justification.

I think it was a penalty, if the player kept running he would of been hit by Abidal, it's true he dived before but its still a pen imo. Not that I care though, I would find it even funnier if it was nothing.

I read that most of the fans in the stadium are Mexicans, while very few French travelled to South Africa. There was an interview with one of the French guys and he said the facts it was European summer and the French team wasnt getting anyone excited contributed to that.

Not good enough, has been very inconsistent at PSV. Though to be fair, he's been unhappy at PSV. He wants to leave PSV this summer, so I'm sure he's putting in extra effort this tounament to catch attention of clubs.

Yeah, he did very well today. But I think that's also because France gave away too much space on his side. Govou did a very bad job at tracking back there. Salcido is already 30 too, I can't see him as a succesful left back for us.
