      Though I might start this.

I actually want Japan to win, mainly because, they are the only Asian nation left and it would be great to see them go further than the Last 16.
Don't really know how Paraguay plays but coming out top from a group with New Zealand, Italy and Slovakia would do them good.

Fancy Japan though, especially with Keisuke Honda being one of their stars at this tournament.

Paraguay walked there group and they are very good remind me of Chile for some reason. Japan have honda and endo carrying there team. In this one i say the first goal is vital but i feel japan can pip it in a close encounter.

Looking forward to seeing Honda again. I really admire his playing ability. Wish he was in our price range.

Another one that I couldn't call!

It would be good to see Japan win though.

I really don't know who I want to win.

I had high expectations for both teams and so far they havent disappointed me.

But I think I prefer Paraguay for the South American factor.

Cardoozy had 51 goals in 49 games last season and they play santa cruz instead. Beyond me to be honest. Its mainly paraguay at the moment in the first 20. Boring game, ball bogged down in japans 5 man midfield

Barrios, Santa Cruz, Cardozo... they have quality upfront. And they don't even have CabaƱas (shot in the head months ago), who was doing great in the qualifying games.

Japan are going closer now. Honda had a good shot didn't hit it sweet enough. Just wide.

To be honest, i have watched both Cardoza and Barrios quite a bit, both on a domestic front and internationally, and i am not impressed by either.

I expected this to be quite an easy game for Paraguay. Not that i rate Paraguay, just didn't think much of Japan. But Japan ahve done quite well.

Nil nil half time. Highlights of first half are, lucas turning and hitting it at the keeper around 40th minute with a neat turn. Matsui hitting the bar around the 30th minute and honda slicing a shot wide. Otherwise boring

Penalties would make things exciting. The Japanese have all the attitude one can ask for - loyalty, never give up, never say die, hard working, determined, never surrender. I am backing them to go through on their excellent fighting spirit.

Japan have started more lively from the start of the half. Paraguay have some real poor wingers i.e. Morel from boca cant cross to save his life.

I can see a penalty shootout, hope we do as it will be the only excitement to the game. Tulio got the keepers right knee in the bottom of his jaw.
