Who Do You Play Like?

When I'm not injured (currently stuck at home following an ankle op) I Captain my 11-a-side team and am the mid-field general so I guess I'd love to say I'm the female equvalent of Stevie G.................. I always play with 100% commitment and as an ex-rugby player I know how to use my handle myself on the pitch.

For my 5-a-side team however I'm usually the one slotting in the goals, I have the view that if I can see the goal then it must be worth a shot  which helped with a '9 goals a game' average last season.

I used to play striker for my school team and would liken myself to a poor mans Owen. Nippy, ran the lines and got injured alot. Turned into a right winger in the mould of Gonzalez. Lot of pace, not alot of trickery but got the crosses in and ran at people. Oh, and got injured alot

Playing striker is the most boring posisiton ever! Play midfield, you get involved a lot!

I don't really play that often anymore but when I do I generally loiter around in defense, playing as either a center back/sweeper and if no-one else is there a right/wing back.
My tackling has always been fairly good, and I play to the logic that if I can't get a tackle in, then I'll at least stay on the man and put him under pressure so his pass/cross comes to nothing. I'm not the speediest player around (my smoking habit has curbed my former tendancy to speedy runs through midfield) but I do like to have a blast running up the field every so often. Passing and crossing was always good - it's not often I give the ball away, and my clearances go to our team approx 75% of the time. I also generally like to take free kicks from the right attacking third - I can put a mean floater in, and usually get it to one our strikers heads.
I don't really know a player who I'm most like, but if I'm playing solely in defense then I'd like to think of Jamie C - Tackling, hustling, covering the whole of the back four if needs be, and never giving up on getting that ball back - Only difference is that I occasionaly fancy my chances up the wing and disappear off for a quick jaunt (although I'll have called someone back to cover first - nothing like bossing the midfield around )

I always been a keeper, few years back I was Brittany number 1 keeper, I don't think I would resemble to any of our keepers...he he..I'm 6.1 good to stop long range strikes, good shot-stopper and specialist on penalties..Oh and I do command the defence!!! so if you put me on the side beware...

I'd say I play like Jan Koller. I'm 6'5" & play upfront, and apart from heading & muscling defenders off the ball I'm not much good at anything else

I do chip in with a good number of goals, last season I scored 22 in 38, but they're near enough always with my head. I play at my best when up against short defenders.

I'd liked to think i was a Dennis Bergkamp (in my younger days) type of player, never really scored an excesive amount of goals (think my best was around 22) but I did create quite alot for my strike partner, as I have very good vision and played some pretty sweet through balls, as the injurys picked up I've played pretty much every where now tho (last season I did actually play every position apart from in goal!!)

I look like Owen a bit, and have same style- no further about i will just stick to Owen

ive been placed in a few positions the last season, mostly out on both the wings either one doesnt phase me,  center midfeild alot (i have a decent tackle, i can get the ball off people) and occasionaly depending on the team, center back.

don't know who I'm like really, all rounder i guess.

i feel most comfortable out on the wings obviously i don't have the ability of Kewell and I'm a right footed player so id have to go with pennant.
as far as midfield goes id say Voronin, strong tackle and can get forward to score goals.

Very much like Fernando Torres! I just make a nuisance of myself and latch onto mistakes made by defenders!

Although I've lost me pace a little! Which makes me a bit more like Jan Molby these days! Pass and walk!.... :

I've always been a Jan Molby type of player. Good passer but am starting to drop back more into central defence as what little pace I had has totally disappeared. I'm more in the Sami Hyppia mould now. Good at reading the game and being in the right place at the right time.

I play like sossoko and a tad of Traore, my favourite position is CM.

My Fav Position would have to be

" Half Full on the Fence"

 but I used to play on the left wing a lot as I was the only one in our side that could kick left footed...( am actually right footed )
and had to take all the corners and free kicks.
but ended up playing as an attacking CM

but as for playing style, probably a Kewell (when he is on the Park), always prepared to back myself 1 on 1 and able to place a pass on a penny from 30 yards....

but the older I get, the better I was......

Many people will find this a weird bump.

But I play like Kuyt in terms of work rate etc. I like to play a defensive role though, say wing back like Johnson. Don't play competitively anymore, gave it up. Play 5/7 a side most weeks and play in said position. I'm right footed but like to operate down the left.

I'm a work horse alot of the time simply as I like to give 100% whenever I play, but not to say I'm not technically good, I can pick a pass all day long, got a decent shot, went from being a winger to a striker and now an attacking mid. Haven't got a player in mind atm who I play like though.

I love playing through, first time, long range and quick passes. I'm lucky that I can usually get weight and timing of passes spot on with either foot both with insteps and outsteps. I'm actually naturally right footed but I spent alot of time training my left foot and I feel it actually shoots better than my right!

I actually love a free role to do anything I want, even to not do anything but I'm lucky I'm a versatile player but I tend to play alot in midfield because I like dropping back to receive the ball then start attacks. I can also play on both wings and because of this, I don't stick to my position and it's not good because I always want to be everywhere.

So, I get called Xabi Alonso, Steven Gerrard, Cesc Fabregas (by my Arsenal friends) for their playmaking and shooting abilities but some even call me Lionel Messi because I'm pretty small, can dribble and get past people pretty often.

I'm not blessed with height (only like 5'4") but at least I got lotsa other stuffs to compensate for that and therefore, I thank God
