Box to Box. Got a bit of everything. Maybe doesn't do any of those specialized jobs you stated above as well as all them do, but i think what we needed is a bit more mulit-dimensional play.

To be honest as good as Masch is at what he does, it F***ing frustrated the hell out of me how little else he did. I think if we line up with Raul and Gerrard in the center with Cole in the hole, or Gerrard in the hole and Raul and Poulsen in mid, then we will be better off.

And with Meireles in for about £10m, take it away from Mach's fee, about £18m? (I heard Roy will get all the cash) then we have £8m, + the fee for El Zhar = £10m, minus Konchesky's fee = £6m, which is the price for this Ola guy? Or (i wish) we actually had a budget in the first place, not just relying on Mach's funds, about £12m? we should have around £20m on a striker!

Alonso-type basically a defensive midfielder who can go forward and score goals, has great passing and a good long range shot.

I would guess 4. When you look at lfc.tv, number 4 is left vacant after Aquilanis loan move and Raul Meireles waers number 4 for Porto, i think.
