53 in all competitions so far this season. He's f**king boss.

Barca smashing 14 in two games, so much for their crisis!!

      Along with 25 assists.

I can't help but laugh that they only paid £75m for him. If I didn't I'd probably cry myself to sleep :D

I wonder if there has been a better season than that stat wise. Ronaldo and Messi have both hit into the 60's for goals before I think but there is no way they got that many assists. Suarez has been involved in 78 goals this season and there are still games to play, he could well end up in the 60's for goals and 30's for assists. The ridiculous thing is, he probably wont win the Ballon D'or next time round.

75 million euros, not pounds acording to both football leaks and Barcelona. We got screwed

Even if we got £100mill for him I think we would still have gotten shafted.

Villarreal look very organized defensively when they don't have the ball. They are playing a 442 and apparently, that's what they will be playing vs us thursday.

Their striker, Bakambu looks to be a more refined version of Origi, their 2 CM's don't seem to be overly committed in attack. Pina seems to be more defensive where as Bruno is their main ball playing midfielder. Suarez is an attacking midfielder playing right side, seems like he comes in often when he has the ball. The left wide player is Castillejo, looks more of a winger. I also like the look of their CB in Bailly, big, strong, quick and seems comfortable on the ball.

We're gonna have to be careful when we press them as they all seem to be very comfortable on the ball and could pass their way out of trouble. Castillejo and Bakambu look pacey and could cause us problems.

More Villa than Real from the game tonight, even with our midfield issues over the two legs we should get past these.

Agreed mate, Villarreal are a good side we should not underestimate them

Bakambu is one of my favorite players to watch this season, he's really good, the kind of player I think would fit us nicely, but with the emergence of Origi he probably wouldn't be a priority

Bailly seems to be a pretty good defender as well

One thing I'm hoping for Thursday is that Soldado is still as static as he was at Spurs.

They pose a completely different type of threat than Dortmund. They're not as all out attacking as Dortmund but they seem very solid at the back. I have confidence that we can get an away goal though. They also don't have the collective scoring ability that Dortmund possess, if we can keep Bakambu quiet then we'll go a very long way to winning this tie.

Get him in as an assistant coach for us...God knows we need to sort our F***ing defense out if we ever want to be Title contenders. I reckon Jürgen could persuade him!  :D

      All Spanish Champions League final.

Could be an all spanish Europa League final.

Valencia knocked out by Bilbao (Spain)
Bilbao knocked out by Sevilla (Spain)
Barcelona knocked out by Atletico (Spain).

Meanwhile in the Premier League, Leicester City are the Champions.

      Hmm.  Best league in Europe?

both madrid and barca winning, obvs....

barca only by 1-0...anything other than a win and like ajax...they lose the title of final day/week.

Luis gets his second to make it 2 nil and, barring a miracle, give Barca the title.

      Yeah I'm the same.

Remember the first time I seen him play live was the time he ran United ragged in the 3-1 win where Dirk got a hat trick.

What a player and he's just kept improving since then.

Suarez hat-trick! Incredibly unselfish of Neymar who could easily have got a goal himself.
