What a silly question- Kenny of course!

He would get instant respect from the fans & players- no need to earn it as he already has!
He may have been out of management for a long time- but football hasnt changed that much since his day- put the ball in the net!

He loves this club more than anyone could even imagine- every decision would be in our best intrests.

Pellegrini. We should snap him up now. Not even messing. Snap him up whilst he's still unattached.

      Spot on.

Quality manager he is. Cannot believe he is unattached.

      Oh no..no..no!

His style as manager of Wales was rubbish, he's still trying to play 3 centre backs!!

Kenny with Phil Thompson as his number two!
Would be my choice as well ,at this time we need someone who knows what it means to follow the reds ,you just know them pair wouldn,t let whiskey nose take pot shots at our players ,if nothing else they would put a lot of pride back in that shirt.

I think it's fair to say that Kenny was everyone's first choice. Unfortunately he wasn't the choice of the Board and we all know why that was. It just lends weight to the Hodgson 'puppet' argument and in all honesty the argument is gaining momentum after each performance. Roy is doing himself no favours at the moment, unless of course he knows something that we don't?.

Considering the situation we are in atm we don't have much options but I would still take O'Neill over Roy anyday.I guess that's what Houllier also said sometime back that he wanted O'Neill to succeed him at Liverpool and I believe he can bring some offensive flavour to our bland football.

Jesus that explains everything! He's blissfully unaware it's the real thing and thinks Saturday is a kick around and tells the lads "don't break your balls save it for the big game", he's made up with the big crowds for a training session and thinks he's doing something right.

Manuel Pellegrini. Plays good attacking football which got Real 96 points last season.

The thing with Kenny is would he cope with the stress? And especially with our current owners?  :(

Can't believe people are saying MON, he's just as bad as Roy!

Would love Kenny, but wouldn't want him having to put up with the rubbish that is our club at present , Kenny or Marina don't deserve that.
Pellegrini would be a good shout for me , plus he actually says he wanted the job.
Saw Paco on TV last night and think he would be worth a punt.
Until he fell out with Rafa things were going along quite nicely.
Above all would love Rafa back but realistically it ain't  gonna happen.

For MON, I think he is not the exact manager we want to have, he is lacking some sharp edges for taking us to the top.. but not bad for a short term caretaker period..
But I still think he is better than Roy.. Currently the one I can think of comparing to RH is Sam Allardyce (I don't even care I spell him correctly), both equally bad..

Hypothetical question of course , but for me I would have a management team ,Thompson, Aldridge led by Kenny Dalglish ....hoping Rafa comes back tho

Kenny as caretaker until we can get back that lengendary spanish waiter :)

      IN RAFA WE TRUST

Totally agree with that. But I also don't mind having Pellegrini here.

I wish Tommo had his coaching badges, we need someone who will give the players a right bollocking when they deserve it and who has Liverpool Football Club as their Number 1 priority in life.

Big problem is ... Roy is on a three year contract.
Why couldn't someone have done a Little Mickey O contract for Roy ....ie pay as you play win?

      Oh well.
      Deschamps said Non.

O'Neill will walk out (Norwich and Villa) at the slightest sign of not getting his way ... like Keegan always did.

      Pellegrini is good to go.

      Talking of Aston Villa..................

Ok me know that this is not a realist thing to say but I say bring on sami hyypia. But only after the owners go then start from scratch. Let the big names move on let build a team for the future with hope in our heart.

And that leaves Joachim Loew, yes it would be a gamble but why not, he ticks all the right boxes for me and I think he would jump at the chance of managing a high profile club such as ours, new manager, new owners, new emphasis, new era, new beginning, f***in roll on the 6th Oct, it all starts to get better from then, we hope!!

Billythered, while I don't really agreed with most of ur message, Ur suggestion is not a bad one.. Joachim Loew.. His tactical awareness is great and know how to play his players at and with their best..
