Just had a spectacular rant on ssn, about players leaving clubs. Absolute quality.

Reporter: "Ian, do you have any injury worries?"
Holloway: "No, I'm fully fit, thank you."

      Nice one.

Think the guy is brilliant. Bags of charisma, character. One of the best English managers around, possibly the best. He's got an X Factor about him that would really intrigue me and encourage me to say 'Yes I want to see Holloway as our manager'! If Roy was to lose his job then I wouldn't say no to Holloway!

Nor me. Infact quite the opposite - I'd love him as our manager!

I think it would be a bit of a gamble IF we had him as a manager, as he is an unproven quantity for a club like ours but, I must say that I have a good feeling about this guy.

I've been quite impressed with the football he has had Blackpool play in the premier league. Although, I haven't really seen them before this, so can't say what they were like before.

But there is something about the bloke that makes me think he could possibly be the right man for us.

Wonder if he would take a 12 month contract with and extension added if he done well?

      Just a thought   :-\

I would certainly have him on the list of possible new managers for the reason he's different.

He isn't an arrogant person like Warnock though, he showed massive respect towards Liverpool after they beat us which was good to see.

And he has some F***ing balls which is a welcome change.

And whilst calling people out, he still comes across as a decent fella, not like the two-faced (and two chinned) Allydarce or Mr Ferguson.

Much respect for him for what he is doing at Blackpool and the kind of football they are playing.A word of caution every season a promoted team sets the  premier league alight but for some reason they cannot sustain it and struggle.I would say give him a couple of seasons at Blackpool and see how he goes before nominating for the job of managing the best club in the world. The last thing we need is another Hodgson.

He's excellent, must be great for a player to have him as a boss, imagine the team talks  ;D

Not sure whether he's quite what we need at this moment though, saying that....Im sure we wouldnt be in the bottom 3!!!!!

If anyone thinks Roy is "out of his depth" at a big club then they should surely expect Olly to drown on his first training session tea break. Olly is feisty and fun and a decent manager but LFC material? i don't think so.

      Get off it.

He has Blackpool playing some brilliant football - passing and moving; is that not the nature of OUR game?

I think I'll answer that myself - yes it is. We are Liverpool and should be playing like Blackpool are now (only with better players).

I am a big fan of Holloway but sometimes he gets a little too riled up in front of the media (I think he enjoys that though). As Hodgson has discovered the media scrutiny is far more intense at LFC than at a smaller club and I could see him losing the plot if things got tough.

I think we can get a bit better than Holloway. Done a fantastic job at Blackpool and i'm happy for them and him but one must have doubts over his capabilities at a club like ours.

He gets worked up over nothing (he's class about it) and the constant crap we get would make him go bonkers.

We get no more crap than any other club. We just make a bigger deal about it.
