It is possible I'm stuck in my ways believe we should build from the back and I have imagined more mistakes than there were 😉

 

Take the goals we scored against Arsenal last week

If you looked at it just for mistakes you could blame Monreal  (?) For giving the ball away before Gomez crossed for Firmino.

Most goals you can put down to mistakes somewhere if you look for them.

Teams like West Brom or Palace or Southampton play different football to us, they play with full backs who sit next to cbs and two holding mids in front of them to minimalize those mistakes but even then if you look at Mane' s goal against Palace it came from a mistake.

Klopp just plays front foot/counter attack  football.. full backs high up..  No real holding mid let alone two.. So mistakes are even more highlighted.
We need to embrace it in my opinion  rather than look for criticism

He's not being naive Shabs don't talk sh*te

It's his approach and I'm fully behind him. Who says we can't win the league like this? We've never followed the f**king crowd anyway why should we now.

But it you look back when Wenger won the league he had a solid back four Winterburn, Dixon, Adams, Keown.

After the defence changed he hasn't been anywhere close to winning the league.

He won it with another defence that consisted of Cole, Campbell, Toure and Lauren.

Fanciful thinking that the likes of Chelsea, Spurs and Mourinho's Utd will let in 40+ goals.

If we want to challenge for the title you can't be thinking we will outscore you.
Every so often against the likes of WBrom Stoke etc you go there and grind out a 0-1.

Could our defence be better, obviously it could. But you trying to argue with statements like this make you look even worse than you already do.

Better to be thought of as a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt... and I already thought you were a fool. If you keep talking I'm going to need a bigger thesaurus to find new words to describe your intelligence.

Think the manager is learning also and that last 2 month's showed he learned the lessons of January.....some of those matches where we just ground out wins were as enjoyable as the 4-0's in that we dominated teams and still kept our shape across the pitch.

Doesn't work that way. You don't just slot one in here or there. It's about a team. That's why United won the league that year, they worked well as a full team despite the defence. We didn't quite get there because we didn't put away the smaller teams, they did. No one is saying we have a great defence. But you saying it's impossible to win the league with a defence like ours has been proven wrong with clear, cold facts. Accept it and move on.

I have never ever seen a team win the league who had a questionable defence

And ours is beyond questionable its piss poor
