Poulsen will definitely return I fear, and yes we all know that Carragher is no right back but he seems to be permanently stuck there for now. It would be nice to see Dani of course but he must've been caught bumming Woy's missus or something hence his sudden dropping off the radar.

Looking forwards to seeing Shelvey in action again as he was the standout in this fixture the other week.

It Gerrard and Torres are rested for this game, then I rearly have to question there over all fitness level and the physio department.

I think it was a knock and he looked as though he ran it off, I'd give Torres some playing time against Napoli, his confidence looks shot to pieces and if he can get some of that back for Chelsea we'll be better off for it.

Knowing what Torres is capable of, he should have buried that header from the corner yesterday and that partial one on one when Gerrard played him through. He needs more chances like that and desperately needs to score from them, Napoli would be a good start IMO.

I was watching the Napoli v. Brescia game, you can't defend deep again them, they are really good at finding room to shoot from outside the box especially Lavezzi. I think Konchesky has proved hes crap about time Aurelio comes in, I think Torres & Gerrard will be rested, Johnson would be fit so Soto might get to stay home too, If Pacheco is not on the bench Hodgson will get some stick for sure

Havent been able to get that damn tune out of my head all day

I'd really like to see Hodgson put in Pacheco for this match.

Simply put: what other match is he truly going to have a better chance to play in over the next month? We need to rest guys for the Chelsea match, we're top of the group, the match is at Anfield, why not play him in this match? It's better than waiting for the FA Cup third round match in January to play him...

Torres pulled up for a bit against Bolton, I would not risk him with the Chelsea game on Sunday.

If he does play, which i sincerely hope he doesn't (sorry Ms.Torres), then i can see him getting the last 20mins.

If he's carrying a niggle though, best left out i reckon.
