I do rate him, but his injuries this past year worry me, hard to tell whether he's injury prone or not. Not sure his body can handle the EPL. I'd be surprised if he comes though, Babel is a good mate of his, he'd be direct competition.

Hopefully Peter Brukner can do his stuff and check him over properly because we don't need anyone that is going to break down every second weekend.

Like I've said before, last transfer window we were linked to 106 players and we signed just 4 of those.

No way we'll sign all of those. At most we'll sign 2 of them. Hamsik and Honda play in the same position, while we already have Gerrard, Cole, Maxi who can play there aswell. We'd never sign them both. And Van Wolfswinkel rumour is false. Probably other false ones aswell.

Yeah. Be great to get a few of those players all of them would be some insane transfer activity. They must have put in some shifts to get all that done if its true.

Liverpool agree Elia deal

Liverpool have kick-started their January shopping after agreeing terms to sign Hamburg midfielder Eljero Elia for €15 million.

The Reds desperately need reinforcement after a disappointing first-half of the season which saw them end the year ninth in the Barclays Premier League.

A lack of width on both wings has been a well documented problem at Anfield.

And manager Roy Hodgson has pin-pointed the speedy Dutch international as the ideal man to remedy the problem.

The 23-year-old signed for Hamburg from FC Twente in 2009 and impressed in his first season at the Bundesliga club.
But he failed to maintain his form the following year and lost favour with coach Armin Veh as a result.

According to Hamburg daily Hamburger Morgenpost, Elia is already on his way out of the club after agreeing personal terms with the Anfield club.
The transfer fee is believed to be €15 million.

There was actually quite a big rumour two days ago that Elia was in Liverpool so I'd say this could be true. Quite excited if it is, as I'm a big fan of his.

Elia went to the world cup last year and looked very good indeed.

Same thing I'm slightly worried about. But then again I haven't seen a great deal of him.

Nothing has been agreed yet. If anything does happen, let's watch him play before make any judgements. That's the one thing I don't like about modern football fans, we judge people to quickly.
