You have not known pressure unless you're Andy Carroll. For that amount of money, he should return two goals per game.

At Anfield, it was a defensive blunder that made him score. But he is No. 3 on the goals table.

I think that this is a good signing for us, he shows some real grit which in my opinion, the squad has lacked in places this year. The cost is bloody nuts, but i guess thats what you have to pay with players with long contracts in the Jan window.
 But with what we have after the Torres(sh*te) debacle, i am pretty optomistic of what we have to come. I like what I see so far, and good old NESV for not pocketing the cash and sitting on it.
Lets be fair, to see the team with KK at the helm, showing some true grit and fight again is all I could have wished for after the RH dark days.
So all and all, I am an optomistic expat Red looking forward to the rest of the season!
