He does fit our transfer policy, and if he wasn't an Evertonian, I think there definitely would have been an approach by now. I can see United picking him up once Evra leaves anyway. City are too stupid, chasing Clichy.

Really rate this lad. Would have him here in no time, even if he plays for Everton.

That lad takes a dangerous corner and very good free-kicks as shown during the Birmingham friendly last saturday, doesn't mean I'd buy and also the fact there is not a chance Everton would sell to us. They'd probably prefer going out of buisness than sell another player to us.

a) He would not necessarily be taking them at LFC
b) Just making sure people didn't think he was some wing-demon if he did come here.
